What’s this “free Scotland” you speak of. Where do I find this mythical beast? In which part of Narnia should I look for it?

The big thing today was the three points but Tav needs benched for a few games. He seems to have completely lost self-belief. As for that f**king referee ... -
Football Leaks claims Euro Super League talks held by clubs

Cue the Scottish media falling over themselves to reserve a place for Celtic. -
It's not sniping, it's a simple question, put without rancour or hidden agendas. If you're unable to answer it you might be better served by not sniping yourself. Instead of pursuing share ownership, imagine what you could do with £1m to challenge the BBC and other anti-Rangers groups? The existing shareholding already gives Club1872 a right to a corporate voice, so what is the expected outcome of buying further shares? Is it to have a seat on the board, which tbh seems very unlikely? But even if a seat on the board is achieved, what are the expected outcomes of that? They may have a voice around the board table, one that can just be ignored, but they won't even be able to disclose what's discussed, let alone challenge it. Surely, the current core strategy of maintaining or increasing % share ownership must have run its course. The old RST ran out of ideas almost as soon as it was formed and demonstrated a complete inability to develop and evolve. I genuinely hope Club1872 doesn't follow the same path and proves itself to be the smart, innovative representation we desperately need.

“Another share issue next year” Will Club1872 be looking for another £1m to spend on standing still in terms of % shareholding?

"Racism" What race is he saying is being discriminated against? Whites? Gingers? Neanderthals?

Celtic FC - Ireland's loss, Scotland's shame.

... or more accurately, speciesism

Are you really saying you feel compelled to read my posts against your will? I'd no idea I had such a remarkable effect on people. ?
-
Ha ha did you think I was interested? ?
-
Gosh, that's clever.
-
Are you still rushing to read my posts then? Weird. Seriously, there's no need to be so use personal insults that you probably wouldn't use face to face. If you really get so upset by posts on a football forum, surely it would be better simply to ignore any posts you disagree with. It's nothing to me but there's a desperation about your posts recently that suggests a problem could be developing. Cheers.

You’re from Govan? My God, why didn’t you say so sooner? Hey guys, it’s OK, he’s from Govan.

What is that ... the second XI wives’ speed mascara cup?

Well said. Crass errors of judgement like that can be extremely costly.

I think we make far too much of this. Fans have to be free to judge the team whether it's the first day of the season or the last. There are no rules, everyone has to make their own decision about when it's appropriate for them to show their displeasure. It's a customer-facing business and no one should be dictating to those customers how or when they can react. If the club or its manager/players want a cosier response from the fans, they only have to deliver better performances on the park. When they do, they also know they will have the best, most supportive fans in the world behind them. In my opinion, the club delivers, the fans respond ... not the other way round.
-
What should fans do? We give unmatched backing when the team plays well, are we not entitled similarly to react to poor performances? Whose money is paying their wages? I've always believed Rangers fans are incredibly honest at reflecting what the club offers them and that's how it should continue to be. What's not acceptable is the periodic and irrational victimising of certain players whether the team is playing well or badly.
-
Yes that would definitely get the job done. The slight problem is it will never happen because we're so cowed we won't take the slightest personal risk. That's not to belittle anyone, it's simply a fact of life. I'd like to see that Rangers chairman make a public statement, pleading with all Rangers fans to stop paying their TV licence fees because of inappropriate and false reporting by the BBC. It's debatable how many would rally to his cause but, while risking legal action against the club, it would certainly publicise the problem far beyond the BBC's ability to control.

Halliday’s passing has been good tonight and he’s been perhaps our best player. I think this role suits him.
-
Well it might persuade the BBC it's self-interest lay in a different direction but it certainly couldn't force the BBC to do anything. However, the SFA/SPFL has zero record of helping its member clubs, as we've seen only too clearly. The idea of the SPFL pygmies standing up to the BBC is stretching credulity beyond its limits.
-
And, apparently, we are delighted to endorse them by continuing to give them our licence fees.

We should but we don't.

It's not just Sunday. We've been running out of steam for a while now. Rapid Vienna was the high water mark.

Our EL run is becoming an obstruction to making progress in the league. We needed the money but now the sooner it's over the better.
