Great to see Ryan Jack having a dig rom the edge of the box which proved particularly fruitful. Hope this becomes a regular part of his (and others) game.5 points

Did you not watch us last season? Tav was one of our best players. Not only were his assists and goals scored stats incredibly good, his overall play was vital to the team. His improvement defensively from his early period at the club is also fairly obvious to anyone who watches us on a week-to-week basis. Of course the obvious goal conceding mistakes he's made are worthy of criticism but to suggest he's anything other than a key player for us is bizarre.4 points

Ojo got nine out of ten, the rest except Jack got ten out of ten. Jack got twelve out of ten.4 points

The shares are being issued by the club. There was approval for it at the last AGM, I believe. They are new shares and the club is getting an extra £500K that it otherwise wouldn't have. I don't see the downside.4 points

I will just say that OJO is also looking like he is getting to grips with the Scottish game. He has played well in the last two games and is winning a lot of balls in chasing back. He could be a cracker if he keeps improving.3 points

I was thinking the same thing last night - the sky really is the limit for Ryan Jack - we say that a lot but don't really mean it, but Ryan Jack is a class above any other midfielder in the country - could easily slot into a midfield in the top half the EPL - hopefully he stays with us for many years, but when someone like Granit Xhaka plays for Arsenal and you then look at Ryan Jack..... Jack would walk into that Arsenal team just now. And they are still top 6 in the EPL.3 points

I am hoping @ian1964 can serve the community once more by finding and posting the tweet/clip from last night which shows Morelos' reaction to being subbed, but even funnier is Gerrard and Defoe laughing at the side of the pitch. That was pure comedy gold!!!! ???? For those that missed it, Morelos was looking delighted after scoring his second and obviously contemplating another hat trick. Just then however he looks up to see Defoe is coming on to replace him. His face is an absolute picture. The camera then returns back to Defoe and Gerrard standing together at the touchline. They are clearly laughing and Defoe even has to put his hands over his face to try to conceal it. I just laughed out loud when I saw it. Our football at the moment is quality entertainment on and off he pitch, for all the right reasons.3 points

Jack...might have won MotM it even if he didn't score two very good goals.3 points

Yet, this bastion of moral integrity was happy to be paid to attend and compere Rangers functions over the years.... Strange.3 points

BBC Scotland Journo's reaction to proposed General Election Date. Long term Sellik blogger, Stefan Bienkoski was rewarded for his faithful through and through approach by being hail hailed into the PQ Gang Hut during the last close season. Mostly, he pens match reports on SPFL matches. He has covered a few Rangers games, including Euro ties; and his grudging remarks can be quite entertaining. Obviously, he has still to come to terms with the move from blogging about his favoured club, to becoming an objective Journo' dealing with the fanatical levels of admiration required by the fellow Bhoys in the Gang Hut. Anyways, on hearing BoJo is set on the 12th of December as the date for the General Election, Stefan 's immediate thought is on Sellik's away Europa League game in Romania, against FC Cluj, "so a general election on December 12, the same day Celtic will have 10,000-15,000 fans in Romania". Now, Stefan assumes all those traveling come from Glasgow, because 15,000 missing the vote will significantly effect those marginal seats in the city. He is also worried about the demographic, "fans could sign up for postal votes, but we're talking about a largely 18-35 demographic of men. Can't imagine many will have that on their minds". The Gang Hut sophologist, Philip Sim(the oft' eulogised, Big Phil) contributes with a graphic claiming Scotland is a country of marginals. Stefan has been chastised, a lie is a more believable lie if it is tempered somewhat, "I've probably exaggerated the number of Celtic fans that will be out the country(haven't had any coffee yet) but even 4-5,000 could make a big difference in Glasgow". Ra Sellik's traveling support to Romania for the Champions League qualifier in August was under one thousand. I suspect Stefan would be better offering his fellow Bhoys the traditional Irish nationalist advice, 'vote early and vote often'?3 points

Craig has left the building, no longer Director of Football either. I suspect Jack Ross will be favourite to take over? I demand Michael Stewart be offered the role; well, for Sunday's game at least.2 points

Olivier Bernard was the low point for me. What an absolute imposter.2 points

What was even better about that was the way Gerrard and Defoe stood on the touchline pissing themselves at Alfie's response to being subbed - you could literally see the gaffer internally going "yep, that's exactly the attitude I want to see from my players - disappointment at being brought off even when the game is clearly won". And you could see from Morelos's demeanour post game that being subbed hadn't bothered him too much as he was laughing and smiling with the rest of the team When I saw Gerrard and Defoe laughing at Morelos I couldn't help but laugh out loud.2 points

Thoroughly enjoyable viewing last night. A midfield masterclass from Jack - really pleasing to see him continue to improve his game. Thoroughly deserved his new contract. Loved Alfy's petted lip when he was getting subbed. Exactly what we want to see - a striker who loves playing and scoring. Pleasing also to see Murphy get 30 minutes. We miss the clever way he moves and takes up positions to create space. I'd like to see Murphy and Kent play in the wide forward positions together - what a torrid time they would give defenders.2 points

Thought Tav played well last night showing no signs that his confidence had took a hit.2 points

There were moans about his performance before kick-off. Madden could have booked a few more but overall his performance was okay.2 points

Agree re penalty but not with the subs point you make. It’s a long season and we’re battling on 4 fronts. At 4-0 up it’s the perfect time to get important players like Jack and Morelos off the pitch. having fatigued important players could do our silverware chances more harm than keeping them on the pitch and maybe scoring another goal or two.2 points

Not only is Jack performing well on the pitch, but he's also working miracles off it. Look at this poll result. Has he just single handedly achieved the impossible on Gersnet by getting us all to unanimously agree on something for the first time? I think so. This is a moment worth celebrating!1 point

At the time I thought Defoe's arrival might put his nose even further out of joint but it seems to have had the opposite effect.1 point

Sebo's a club legend man. ? I think I'd have Bernard on a dud list.1 point

The difference in his performances now that his attitude is more mature is great. What are we talking about now in terms of sale price - £30m?1 point

This stuff plays into our hands. Gerrard will have that stuff up on the dressing room wall the same way Walter used to do.1 point

A fine team performance last night, very purposeful and could/should have scored more, great to see Morelos scoring another couple, his face when getting subbed right after scoring his 2nd ?. I also have sympathy with Wes, but he has shown professionalism since losing his place to McGregor and although he never had much to do I was pleased for him. Ryan Jack!!!, what can you say about this guy that hasn't already been said? he is the heartbeat of our team, he has improved so much under SG/GMc he has hit a level I don't think he even thought he could, adding goals now, the sky is the limit for him.1 point

Valentine Gregor Stevens Jeffers Black Barton I’m thinking of players who cost money and kept better players out of the team rather than the wholesale dross of the wasted years.1 point

He was rarely tested defensively, such was our dominance. So a good game for him to get under his belt in terms of building his game back up.1 point

Not booking Spence before half-time was disgracefully lenient. Madden has a history of allowing our players to be assaulted but red cards them at the first opportunity.1 point

Fans were calling for him to be dumped. He did have a poor start. Also...Ricksen was 'rehabilitated' before moving to midfield.1 point

I have said it for months - the Scottish national team should be built around Jack. He has been excellent for over a year now.1 point

As well as giving fringe players some game time, they will be needed throughout the season1 point

What does it take for the yahoos to get a stadium closure or partial stadium closure? Surely now Delaney’s no longer involved with UEFA it can only be a matter of time1 point
