  1. Maybe a nicely worded statement from Rangers declining to contribute but giving £5K to a nominated charity (Erskine or such like). Said statement could also contain a line or two reminding everyone that we in fact offered to pay for a fully independent investigation into SPFL.... ??

  2. I'm really disappointed with the above departure. Goodbye, Mrs Polster!

  3. Maybe, with the imminent job losses, they're trying to get Bears back buying their scummy rag. I would hope most of us are clever enough not to assist them in their hour of need.

  4. I've asked the Supporter Liaison Officer to clarify the following with respect to Rangers Diversity and Inclusion Charter: • Can you inform me how Rangers intend to implement the strategy with respect to trans status people without impinging in any way on the sex-based rights of female supporters? • Can you confirm what Rangers’ position is with respect to Black Lives Matters? BLM as an organisation asserts that all white persons by virtue of their ethnicity and their ethnicity alone are guilty of racism. This is itself self-evidently a racist proposition. Consequently, BLM must fall necessarily outside of the terms and scope of Rangers’ own DIC.

  5. Any chance you could debate this stuff with the government and leave Rangers out of it?

  6. Go Radio, a digital station with a greater Glasgow broadcast footprint, was taken over by (Lord) Willie Haughey and (Sir) Tom Hunter last year. They've fairly big plans for it, plans that have been hampered by the Covid lockdown, but are now finally being rolled out. They see sport, specifically football, as being key to the station's growth and success. They're investing in 'talent' and production people and, if rumours are to be believed, have their eye on securing commentary rights for SPFL matches. Apart from the co-owners having deep pockets they also have excellent connections at Hampden, having helped fund the purchase the stadium from Queens Park a couple of years ago, so getting a sympathetic hearing might not be hard for them, plus the game is desperate for money so any new revenue is likely to be very welcome. I understand they see the dynamic between Rangers and BBC Scotland as providing an opportunity for them to attract listeners. The 'talent' I've heard mentioned doesn't suggest this is going to be some kind of Rangers love-in, but if it at least provides live commentary of matches and interviews with our manager and players it might be very welcome. Time will tell.

  9. Since today's prints have it that Mickey Mellon, the new Dundee Hibs manager, will be backed financially, if he wishes to make new signings, it seems that any monies contributed to their rather undignified whip round will, in practice, contribute to their playing budget. Perhaps, of course, we range even deeper into the arcane realm of separate entities.

  10. Steamy Windows. The old double act have pulled on the Hollicom jerseys and are well to the fore these last couple of days. Big Chris is thrusting up front, Alison is taking it in, whilst stimulating and encouraging deeper penetration. Obscuration is required, lots of obscuration. The heavily animated pair are gesticulating, demonstratively indicating the preferred channel. Enduring concealment demands a fine balance between weighty particles and sufficient propellant to find the mark. Putting up a smoke screen is one thing, watching it blow away is another. We should realise the responsibility placed upon Alison's broad shoulders, blowing away for all her worth, hoping Chris can sustain his barreling performance. You see the entire separate entity thing is beginning to unravel. Stronger lights are being shone into the darkest of corners, revealing carefully constructed layered defences. The cabal that is the Scottish Government, the SFA, and Celtic FC had constructed a squirrel. The SFA Review into Football Child Abuse is already a year late in delivering it's report. The Chair, Martin Henry has issued a nothing statement and also revealed he is currently too ill to say anything further. This, in the week where Solicitor, Patrick McGuire representing those sexually abused whilst playing for Celtic Boys' Club, is demanding the release of the SFA Review findings. It is believed Celtic are in possession of a copy of the findings? Martin Henry's appointment as Chair of the Review is mind boggling. Academic qualifications and work experience in Social Work would deem Henry a reasonable choice? However, he founded LBGT Youth Scotland with James Rennie in 2003. Six years later, Rennie was convicted of sexually abusing a child for four years from the age of four months until nearly five years. James Rennie's life partner was Neil Strachan; he was convicted as part of an Edinburgh based paedophile ring. Strachan was Secretary of Celtic Boys' Club in Edinburgh. One wonders as to the suitability of Henry Chairing the SFA Review, when he failed to reveal the nefarious dealings of his founding business partner? Further, Martin Henry was the Safeguarding Advisor to the calamitous Cardinal O'Brien. This last week, both Chris and Alison have made all the runs, they are demanding attention. Alison has trolled Rangers over the Castore strip launch, pointing at the spectre of Mike Ashley. Yesterday, she was proclaiming Kieran Tierney was an Arsenal snip at £25 million, based on one appearance against Leicester City. Chris has dismissed Rangers supporters claims of a SPFL fixture carve-up ie Rangers being away to last season's top six twice before the break and the first old firm game happening several weeks after it's usual slot, to allow Yahoos into the ground. Further, Chris has facilitated former team mate, Alan Thompson to tell us all, seventeen years after the event; that when Chris talked of Dunfermiline laying down, he spoke for us all. I suspect, no matter how hard Alison and Chris go at it, the steamy windows being created are only as a result of condensation. They will clear away and the questions awaiting Martin Henry will still need answering?

  14. Yes. The 5 stars should have featured only for the season after winning title #50. I’ve never liked the weakness of having to parade our success

  15. The 5 stars will always symbolise the Murray era and should have no place in our future. We’ve put those days behind us now.

  16. The 5 stars are unnecessary. I would lose them right away

  17. As someone who has previously worked as a graphic designer, I think this a marked improvement. For a start, RANGERS is centred and above the lion instead if starting from round on the left side. That's done my head in for ages. The lion is also cleaner and more defined. Possibly could put Estd. 1872 in the spaces either side of the lion?? Next request...lose the stars from the classic RFC monogram. Call me a purist but I prefer it on its own to be honest.

  18. Aimless crosses into the box that not once hit a red shirt, while beaten defensively on numerous occasions, almost costing a goal at least twice when he lost his man. He runs up and down the left side all game long but actually achieved the square root of f all. If Borna had put in as many crosses without ever hitting a man he would get slaughtered.

  19. A really really poor defender at that. Another dreadful display by him last night, dont understand why they are persevering with him, he just cannot defend at all. They must feel totally ripped off. Never mind he will be injured again soon! But your main point is spot on, we always undersell and overbuy, while our rivals oversell (if you believe the figures quoted)

  20. Most of these football gossip sites are run by 12 year olds. I'm glad the club is keeping transfer info in-house now. We can largely ignore press speculation (never mind gossip site nonsense) and await official confirmation of comings and goings.

  21. I would rather keep him than let him go for 12 million, because that wont provide an equivalent replacement. But if he's pushing for it then we're in a spot.

  22. Football Insider, presuming that is where JFK got the info (might not have been) is notorious for being miles off - I wouldnt pay ANY mind at all to it - at 12 million I would imagine the club say "thanks but no thanks, we will just keep him for the season" as the 12 million wouldnt be good value compared to the goals and performances he brings (2st half of last season anyway...)

  23. A more pertinent question would be, why does anyone pay any attention to a football gossip site, particularly when someone like Stevie4LHAD has just rubbished it?
