  1. Some rumours that Scottish football may be paused until next Monday which seems all rather convenient for one club playing their CL qualifier the following day. Rangers need to get out on front on this subject to drive the narrative.

  2. We really need to win these next 2 games now. That was always the case but more so now.

  3. A suspicious man may even speculate that this was all pre-planned…. Is it really believable that a Celtic player disappears abroad without the club knowing?

  4. Bizarre stuff. I just hope our players know better.

  5. Very difficult to see how Celtic can play their next 2-3 games now with the Bolingoli news. Covid has a 14 day incubation period so it could be another 10 days or so before the disease shows up in any tests. UEFA especially will be watching very closely as they may have to throw Celtic out the CL.

  6. Whoever signed off this deal needs to be sacked immediately. So out of touch with the feelings of the fans who are sick of biased negative reporting of our club from this utter scum of a rhag. This must be rescinded or a lot of the good feeling the fans have for this board will start to evaporate.

  7. From The Sons Of Struth Facebook page - interesting and one wonders if the authorities will investigate this claim. "Celtic must be the only club in the world who can collect their player from the airport and not know he’s been abroad."

  8. Where is the disciplinary action being taken against Dolly & the Bheasts for their players actions? Does anything think for a minute that if one of our players had broken the rules in such a manner that our club wouldnt be the subject of a disciplinary action, with all the talk being of huge fines, points deductions, player suspensions etc? A statement that pats bheasts on the back for flinging their player under the bus is hardly protecting the integrity and reputation of the game. Going further, if it was us and we had a Euro qualifier taking place next week and knowing full well that if a team cannot fulfil their fixture they are flung out, I know exactly what our penalty would be.

  10. And they will hopefully have a crowded fixture list later in the season with at least two postponed games to squeeze in. You have to wonder how it will affect Bolignoli too.

  13. i am quite please with this. celtc don't get a weakened Aberdeen. They do get lass match practice going into europe and they get a fixture pile up.

  14. If a club has a few bad injuries, do they just secretly send a player abroad, play him then leak it that he's been abroad to get the season postponed?

  16. Thus, in summation : we have two investigations currently being undertaken by ra Sellik. Leigh Griffiths girlfriend had a dozen of her besties over for a birthday party in Bothwell. The photos were on the social media, no social distancing, breaking the no more than three households rule. Secondly, we have Bolingoli nipping off to Spain for a city break, without informing anyone? There appears to be a discipline problem at ra Stade de Gadd. What will Nicola say? What will the SPFL Chief Executive, Neil Doncaster say? What will Shifty McGifty and Rod ra Fraud say? What will Peter let any of them say? We should be told.

  17. As I suspected Bayer are eliminated in the very next round. Completely outplayed by Inter who should have been out of sight were it not for some good goalkeeping and some very poor finishing. Having watched Bayer again there I am more certain than ever that Braga were the best opponent we faced in Europe this year, but perhaps it was our lucky escape we didn’t play Inter, they looked excellent and will be hard to prevent lifting the trophy.

  20. BBC Radio 5 tonight. Roddy Forsyth, long time, anytime, apologist for Pederasts 'R' Us FC, read from what can only have been a Holicom prepared script: Bolingoli is the problem: he lied to his Club, he lied to his manager, he lied to his team mates. The club like no other yet again a victim. Why am I unimpressed?

  22. A negative test at this point doesn't mean they're in the clear. As has been well publicised it can take up to a couple of weeks before a positive test shows after initial infection which is exactly why 8 sheep are in isolation when only 2 tested positive. Could this be the yahoo fate in the CL? Champions League: Linfield game off over Kosovan opponents' Covid-19 issues

  23. Absolutely no chance of them getting kicked out , however the more games that they get postponed the better , there are simply no free weeks to play games , pressure pressure Rangers .

  25. Is it just me? Or does that joint action statement of Petrie's reek of back slapping cronyism? We echo the sentiments of CFC's statement and commend the club's swiftness in opening a disciplinary investigation. Are they having a laugh? Where was the investigation into Griffiths behaviour a week before? They have hung Bolingoli out to dry. Lennon already stated he will find it difficult to play for club again. I just cannot imagine the same empathy being handed out if this had been one of our players! Nae chance!

  28. What other possible sanctions to the SPFL have in their locker to hit Celtic with? - breaking Covid propocal? - bringing game into disrepute? - fielding an ineligible player? Can't wait for Doncaster to announcing what is happening here.........

  32. Driving home last evening and the car radio is on, Radio Snyde Sportsdesk is promising an insight from Alan Stubbs. I am sure most Gersnetters are imbued with the very thought of an Alan Stubbs insight, thus haud me back. I drum my fingers on the steering wheel in anticipation. The intrigue grows as the Presenter teases with, "Alan reveals the reason for Rangers good start to the season". Why is a guy that failed spectacularly in two out of three football management jobs(Rotherham and St Boo) being touted to provide Rangers insights? Of course, the answer is Hollicom and it's distribution of scripts. Thirty-odd years past, a new blat arrived on the block, it told and revealed stories that had remained hidden for decades. Front page headlines such as, 'World War 2 Bomber found on the Moon' and my favourite, 'London Red Bus Discovered on Mars Surface'. The Sunday Sport sat at one end of the spectrum, it monopolised the ridiculous. Hollicomhas a spectrum of scripts to distribute to maintain it's preferred narrative. There are many grasping hands waiting for provision. Stubbs gets the ridiculous. Alan's insight is Rangers are beneficiaries of playing in front of NO supporters. Rangers players cannot handle the pressure of supporters' demands, the Covid crisis has delivered a situation where they strive. I cannot wait for the headline, 'Alan Stubbs has a Jupiter Moon in his Pocket'. Well, it would be a comfort for him, he has only one ball!

  33. If he's been training with the squad then they are at risk. Doesn't matter that he returned a negative, he probably wouldn't test positive in the early stages if he's caught it. I can't see how the authorities don't come down on Celtic like a tonne of bricks after what Aberdeen players did. At the end of the day he's broken the quarantine laws in the UK, it seems to be a worse crime than the Aberdeen players. Christ footballers can be daft.

  35. On Saturday, there were a few moments on Off the Ball where DrStu' allowed the curtain to be drawn back. In his 68th year, he has a thin skin. The website, 'Pie and Bovril' came up in conversation, and DrStu' mentioned there was a thread on said forum entitled, 'Off the Ball - is it any good'? Now, Pie and Bovril and DrStu' are old friends. The forum is a focus for serious Rangers hatred and it's owner, a St Boo fan called, Div McDonald was a regular guest on Off the Ball for several years. Really, it was a mutual masterbation brought on by the stimulation of Rangers hating. Over these last two years, there has been a parting of the ways. McDonald no longer appears and threads like the aforementioned appear on the site, generally castigating the tired and lazy pairing that is Cosgrove and Cowan. A few weeks ago, DrStu' was openly stating he needs another five years on prime time radio, it's the exposure. Some hip young gunslinger approaching 75 years. His skin is thin and Pie and Bovril's threads are not helping his cause. On Saturday, he announced football forums were quickly dying and wondered aloud about Div McDonald? He said, "Div McDonald, where is he, we should get him back on, he'll need £30 these days". Here's a guy boasting a property portfolio in 3-4 countries trolling a former mate, offering him thirty quid if he gets back to fawning behaviour. DrStu' the toad is a classy guy.

  36. There was supposed to be shares issue. or rights issue, was there not? Presumably Covid 19 has stymied it. I imagine that boardroom changes will be minimal, unless necessitated by death or incarceration, until after completion of this.

  37. Indeed. My point wasn’t so much that they BOTH get high at the same time (although yesterday they did with Borna’s cross being challenged at the back post by Tav which resulted in a. Corner and our 2nd or 3rd goal). But if one of them is generally consistently playing higher up the pitch - Barišić was higher up the pitch against Aberdeen than the midfield 3 and the same applied for large swathes of the match yesterday..... then IMHO you cannot legitimately claim we are playing with 4 defenders and 2 DM’s. in name they may be as those are their “natural” positions but Borna in particular has been more a left winger than a left back domestically this season. That’s NOT a back 4. and completely agree regarding having the 2 DM’s.... they, or at least one of them, pivots and drops allowing either Tav or Borna to bomb on. Again this makes sense to me because Barišić can be lethal with his crossing. Also agree we seem to be learning in that Tav gets forward but is better through the defensive to offensive transition... so let Borna be the constant attacking danger and Tav does it when the ball is in transition. i think it’s very smart of the management team.
