Hampden usual s**i hole and pitch bloody hell, My view on game:- 1) McGregor finished,static at goal. 2) Full backs both were poor especially Tav. 3) Looks like a few are carrying injuries. 4) Beale has them showing fight in adversity. 5) the sheep got what they deserved. 6) We're in the final so result.

It wasn’t the easiest watch this afternoon but we got there in the end. Since MB took over there does seem to be a greater belief amongst these players although to be honest some are definitely nearing the end of their time at Rangers. I do think the likes of Ryan Jack & John Lundstrum are losing a bit of influence in MF they once had. Maybe this explains MB’s interest in players quoted in the media. Recruitment now and in summer needs to be better than we’ve had in recent times. This will define MB’s time as Rangers manager

I thought it was a good game. Not a classic and not always comfortable but a well-contested semi-final. Games like this, especially semi-finals are seldom easy affairs and I think we did well to win it. I think as a priority we need changes at fullback, on both sides of the pitch. I'm all for using fullbacks to attack but if they can't defend as a bare minimum then they will always cost us. Barisic has always blown hot and cold but his defensive instincts are virtually non-existent. Tavernier just looks finished and there were times when he looked truly awful today ... something unfathomable when you consider the heights he was reaching on the way to Seville.

Took us 2hrs to get home after the game. No Police at any junctions or traffic lights around Hampden - it was a free for all.

Roofe's injury has really put a dampener on things for me. His goal shows just how much he could contribute this season, but it just doesn't seem like it will happen at all now.

Same type of performance again from us - lots of possession without creating much. However, maybe sheep were at their very best there, so some credit to come back and get the result, but that was really thanks to Wright and Roofe.

Why the fuck didn't McGregor run out to get that ball at the end? Anyway, what a win!

Not disagreeing with your point there but to the rule the forward doesn’t interfere until he gets on the ball or obstructs a defender. No idea why our defenders switched off knowing play would continue as the forward didn’t show intent to go for the ball

Good start, then they had a spell, we took over again and they struck on the counter. In fact, it could be 2-0, bar that offside call (which was correct). McGregor's close-range skill have gone, seemingly. We have two DMs on the field, yet the waltz through time and again. Tillman plays far too often far too deep. Kent again here, there and no-where to be seen. Hence, despite our dominance, once more far too disjointed. Alfie needs too many chances, even though he almost managed one. Half-time tea needed again ...

They have done nothing except score a goal, due to our bad defending! we have dominated the match

That goal is not offside, nothing has changed with the offside rule regarding that goal, our players never anticipated it, bad defending is all that happened
