The best thing about the game was that it was enjoyable.6 points

Overall a decent performance with some positives, but still a lot of work to do. Everyone played their part today, but really pleased for Dessers - great finish from him and hopefully he can kick-on from here .4 points

Fucking brilliant lads! We've said it for awhile but build the team around Raskin and Cantwell- one has the bite and gnarl and the other has the guile and technique. People made you think that you couldn't play well at Ibrox because of the opposition too, now we know.4 points

I can't wait for the first time Borna turns back and passes it to Davies or Souttar.4 points

Yes ..... as soon as Barisic went off3 points

Amazing what you can do if you pass the ball forward3 points

Can we have the convo about Sima being the best finisher at the club? He's scored from properly tough and awkward angles and found the bottom and top corners every time. If he keeps this up until January I'd be having dialogue with Brighton.3 points

There's a recognisable structure in the press, and a verticality to our attack. There's almost too much of the latter (verticality) as we're not quite linking up well enough, but I think that will come as players get used to the system. This is the same team that Beale lined-up with and there's a marked difference in approach.3 points

We're getting nothing from Robertson. Worst referee in Scotland.3 points

Phil - what the f*ck is this?!3 points

Keegan, Gascoigne, Beckham, Rooney? No. Bobby Charlton was their best. First saw him 1962, Scotland v England at Hampden. Didn’t do much that day. Did plenty afterwards.2 points

Yilmaz is no world beater but he is significantly better than Barisic2 points

We wouldnt be that lucky that they would pick him as Rodgers replacement. Once Hibs n Hearts neat them over the next seven days we might find out1 Wishful thinking loyal2 points

The ref was disgraceful but not in the way he says! So many 50/50's went against us and at least 3 times we should have had free kicks and didnt get them. Robertson is worse than Clancy and thats going some!!!!!!2 points

So carried away was I by the euphoria of Beale's absence and the improvement on the field that I found myself willing Dessers to score. Which he eventually did. I do worry though if what they're injecting Raskin with is strictly legal.2 points

Good performance and result. Raskin and Sima both had very good games. Lammers and Dessers still look really short of confidence but they both got into good positions and their effort was admirable. The players looked a lot surer about what their jobs were today, which was pleasing to see.2 points

Players picked up their tools again, we can but hope they keep it up.2 points

We shot from distance?! I'm in tears...2 points

One of the greatest Englishman to ever pull on a football shirt the driving force behind a wonderful Manchester United team as well as the England team that lifted the Jules Rimet Trophy R.IP. sir Bobby.1 point

I beg to differ. Defensively, Yilmaz is too small and easily brushed aside1 point

Relieved about that. After his comment about seeds, I thought our new manager was going to be Monty Don!1 point

Both our central midfielders (Lundstram and Raskin) were very good. They seemed to be unshackled in more box-to-box roles.1 point

Aye the managers mentioned how the players were blowing after 10 minutes playing his way - it's going to take time. It was noticeable tbf, then there was a second wind for the first 20/25 of the second and then they were blowing again. Make it to the winter break within touching distance and I'll be confident.1 point

He scores the worldies and misses the tap-ins! I'm exaggerating but you know what I mean.1 point

I f*cking love that type of goal: a disguised through ball from Cantwell and a delightful pass into the corner of the net by Dessers. Lammers' movement starts the chance.1 point

How did Lammers miss from there1 point

Jeez-o, this boy Sima can finish. That's outstanding from that angle.1 point

I think it makes sense to choose Lammers and Dessers to show he is not prejudging them and to give them a chance to show him what they can do. It also shows he wants to "reconnect" the fans with his squad.1 point

Ah dinna ken what they say in Wallonia, but in Glasgow we say "Plus ca change.....plus ca meme chose."1 point

I have no idea which formation we'll use. I think a 4-2-3-1 / 4-4-2 was typical at Monaco for Clement, but he used a 3-5-2 in Belgium. A front-two suits us with so many forwards.1 point
-
Can't wait for the team selection. This place will light up when he picks Dessers and Lammers.1 point
-
Increase in tempo & hopefully a bit more movement up front. Forwards need to start making runs & making themselves available & not waiting for the ball to drop at their feet in front of the goal1 point
-
The only tangible thing that I feel we might see tomorrow is a change in tempo. Its too early to see a massive change but our slow, aimless and ponderous tempo must change.1 point

I want the bugle to sound. I want primed grenades and fixed bayonets. I want a frenzied shagging of every bayonet wound inflicted. I want no limit of exploitation. I want Irvine Welsh to feel violated. I want six nil to the Rangers.1 point
