I was impressed with Shankland today. im not normally but his goal was some finish from that angle and his general play was good until hearts fell out the game.4 points
-
Clement has to be a bit more brutal with team selection and subs. Clean slate time is over - players who offer next to nothing shouldn't start.4 points

Try having to listen to Liam McLeod and Michael Stewart providing commentary on BBC Scotland. That's stressful. Away with the good lady so had to listen to the game driving home. Nearly crashed the car into my garden wall when Danilo header went in. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣4 points

It was good to see the majority of our support stick around today. The UBs need to ditch that drum and sing more proper Rangers songs. The Ultra ones they do for never ending periods are crap. Hearts went 1-0 up and all we heard was that ow ow ow one for the next 10 minutes. About as inspiring as a Cliff Richard calendar.3 points

We had close to 70% possession, pressed and pinned Hearts back for the majority of the game. What we lacked was decent delivery into the box (Tav for the winner the exception) and composure to play the correct pass in the final 3rd. The players never gave up despite the vast majority of the crowd giving up after 60mins.3 points

I wish we'd get over this not signing Scots players, there's plenty of guys that would have improved us over the last few years. Shankland is one such player.3 points
-
Because he was badly positioned and watched as the ball sailed over his head - Shankland was left with a free header. If he can't win the header he needs to stop Shankland get a free header Ridvan has been here for years and has shown very little to suggest he has what it takes to be a constant in our team.3 points

It wasn’t a great performance but we deserved the win. Hearts scored early doors & tried to see out the win with 11 men behind the ball.I thought we might have changed formation to 3-5-2 but we didn’t. We looked jaded today after a hard shift on Thursday night in Prague. Our support need to understand that3 points

This might sound a bit daft but Danilo reminds me a bit of McCoist. He'll fluff a sitter and then not long after score a bloody good goal. I like him.3 points

Dessers and Lammers come off and we score two. No coincidence.3 points

No more lammers and Dessers, we have an answer. Well done getting 2 goals but for 90 mins it was utter shite.3 points

Tav has been finished for a couple of seasons3 points

Knew he was missing that. Absolute wet wipe mentality. Ffs Tav. Great play by cantwell to win the pen3 points

On the subject of Ridvan, he had one of his poorer games today. Offered nothing at their goals, where he was obviously targeted, got caught out a few times and was 0/5 for attempted crosses in the first half.2 points

Shankland is not and never will be good enough for Rangers2 points

Another footnote from today's game; big shout out to the UBs and Broomie Collective today. Whilst everyone around them were booing, shouting obscenities at our players, leaving early, they stayed behind the team and continually sang and encouraged the players / team. If only everyone else would do the same.2 points

But is he 7 foot? If so, can he play left back?2 points

Well agree to disagree Cammy. I'm not saying he's a superstar, but fuck me he's better than the 2 we bought.2 points

Ridvan isn't the problem, asking him to cover tall forwards against high balls is the problem. Some of the best fullbacks I've seen in a Rangers shirt have been small in stature. Bobby Shearer was 5' 7". Eric Caldow was 5' 8".2 points

Lessons learned today ....... 1. Danilo is the best goal threat we have on the books. 2. While not perfect, Ridvan is far better than some would have you believe. 3. We will always struggle to win games when Dessers and Lammers are given 60 minutes together. 4. Tavernier cannot play every game like he used to. 5. It's a long road ahead.2 points

He may well be the best of the three of them.2 points

I thought our counterpress was quite good. We got bodies around the ball when we lost it, and recovered it quite quickly. I was impressed, but obviously these things get overlooked the longer we chase the game.2 points

The lads just need to empty the tank over the next 4 games up until the intl break. Give it absolutely everything - have a couple of days off and then spend a week with the new gaffer on the training pitch.2 points

I though Ridvan was one of our better players today. Great effort and kept us going forward.2 points

He's been here for a season and a quarter tbf2 points

I think Ridvan height is a serious issue as it’s clear he can’t make up for it with positioning and physicality. His crossing is also very hit or miss, normally a miss. Having said that I thought he was no where near our worst player today, he was one of the few that offered something going forward in the first half, moreso than most of the team put together.2 points

We were guff for the most part, then wee Danilo pops up at the end like Dick Turpin 😁 and blags all three points. Love it ! There will be some ragin going on with the other mob tonight 🤬 C'mon The Gers2 points

This is the worst performance I've seen from Tav.2 points

They’ve got a chance to close the gap and yet they show no urgency totally bereft of any creative play I would say they’re bottling it2 points

Can you imagine the joy Atlanta and Cremonese were trying to hide when we started to enquire about Lammers and Dessers. They likely couldn’t believe their luck. The even managed to negotiate us up. Astonishing.2 points

Danilo replaces Dessers and at this point I’d have Wright ahead of Lammers. He’s just dung.2 points

I'd put Lammers and Dessers in a taxi to the airport.2 points

He genuinely looks pathetic, like a sulking child.2 points

Anyone else noticed that the players seem to have a severe lack of belief in either their teammates ability or for a potential slip up to capitalise on? - Sima checking his run on Ridvan pass (I reckon he gets there if he doesn’t pause). -Raskin not expecting Cantwells ball in the box. -Dessers not pressing the only free player whilst his teammate harries the other player. -Dessers not challenging their keeper who then spills the ball. We don’t give that extra percentage to capitalise on these things and that is 4 examples that could have had an impact on the game. Maybe they are only half or quarter chances, but still…. Thought Cantwell came into the game more towards the end. Whilst I think Ridvan is seriously disadvantaged as a left back due to his height I do actually think he has been one of the more positive players going forward, although I don’t think he is a good crosser of the ball.2 points

I don’t think that’s a yellow for Lundstram harsh2 points
