Reading we've accumulated more coefficient points this season than we did the year we got to thr final.5 points

One of the downsides to last night was the section of our support that has no intelligence and insist on singing something that could get a stand closure. How difficult is it to avoid one song for one night? F***ing idiots!4 points

FFS the guy gets stretchered off and has probably done in his achilles needing an op maybe suss in the past but not this time. BTW he put in a great shift last night.3 points

I was delighted to get a draw out of that. To be honest I expected more from them. Almost to a man our players that started the game were outstanding. We had more than our fair share of bad luck and there were some poor decisions from match officials but we are still in it for the second leg. Anything is possible in a knockout.3 points

Like the guy but it was absolutely insane to extend his contract , we still have reckless individuals making crazy decisions at the club.2 points

Kelly for me too. Applause for wee Ridvan, his best defensive performance to date for me and if he could get to that level consistently I could be persuaded he has a future with us. Hagi was immense for all the wrong reasons you normally assoicate with him, he worked just as hard as Raskin who was everywhere, helped Ridvan when required and closed and harried them all day. Was running out of steam a bit before he got subbed. Balogun seemed to stroll it against top quality strikers.2 points

Build like an ox, but no durability whatsoever. Did he ever survive three to five games in a row?1 point

Delighted with that resolute performance. A real fighting performance from our big-game Charlies which keeps the tie alive which I thought after 10 minutes would be stone dead. It just goes to show that it is not easy for any side to play against a well organised defensive park the bus shape. We have better players than what we face domestically when we struggle to break them down, so when we do it, better sides than us similarly struggle to break it down. I loved the 2008 throwback we embraced last night with every keeper kickout being aimed high left towards Hagi whose job was just to flick it on out of play into the far corner and let us regroup and get into shape before they attack again. Walter employed this tactic in that great Euro run to Manchester when Barry was captain, so it was funny to see a real anti-football tactic being brought back a generation later. It worked well for us as it denied them the opportunity to counter us.1 point

Need to get the ball to the strikers and they need to be on their game to take any chance that comes there way fed up seeing Cerny cutting inside then losing the ball tell him to play as an out and out winger1 point

I believe he's not in the Europa League squad so can't be picked. The ball did touch his hand. The bigger question to me is whether it was in an unnatural position. There's an argument to say that it was in a natural position of someone who is running, but if it was the other way around, I'd certainly be claiming for it.1 point

Nope! That's all I've heard that they've all got EPL experience.1 point

Kelly. His penalty save, from a ridiculous award, and a couple of other stops, ensured the draw, which kept us in the tie, and which we would have accepted at 8pm last night.1 point

Not sure who it was in the ambulance getting a mounted police escort along edmiston drive to PRW. I'm assuming it was Sterling, which isn't a good sign.1 point

Hagi for me. Not much scope for his creative side to show through but his defensive cover was very good. Helped nullify the winger. Thought Cerny also helped out Tavernier on the other wing.1 point

Sterling no surprise, he is a crock and needs sold. No idea why we gave him a new contract. Madness. Shame for young Rice, he did ok last night. Was looking forward to seeing him get more games.1 point

This looked much like a role-reversal to the Rangers league games that I have seen. They could not score, you defended resolutely. The loss of Pröpper did not really change much of the game plan, I would say. I was a bit surprised that there was not another fast attacker on, to have more options of getting the ball away. All to play for.1 point

A big improvement needed to get into the next round good to see Butland dropped that was common sense but I think he stuck with Hagi far two long I’d have hooked him at half time for young legs in McAusland get him and Cerny to stay out wide get their crosses in for two strikers Dessers and Igamane . But we live to fight another day but I suspect the Spanish boys will up their game .1 point

Rumours are both are bad - Rice was similar to Danilo's facial injury and Sterling's is achilles. Hopefully that's incorrect but looks like they'll be out for a while.1 point

Am I still dreaming you better believe I am, luck indeed played a massive part in our draw last night as @JohnMc said in his lucky, lucky, lucky post I bet a few hundred thousand maybe millions of other fans wanted us to get pumped last night , What I took from the game highlights is that whatever was said on Monday with Barry and his home truths or the players as Kelly said double digits got off there chests done them a lot of good as they played as one , of course the proof is in the pudding come our next league match against the sheep but right now I’m proud of every player and Barry and the coaching team for sticking to their game plan. We don’t ask for much all we ask is each player gives their all. 💪🏻🔴⚪️🔵1 point
