  1. I am happy to leave the mechanics of payment to those in contact with Rangers Lotto. Wouldn't it be most gratifying if Gersnet could have a £100 per week collective stake in the Lotto? All monies won ploughed back in .... etc. Anyways, if this can be organised, I am in for a fiver a week.

  2. The difference? The current directors have given security for a lending facility to a financial institution in the same way as most other clubs in Scotland. The current directors have lent the club cash and taken no security. Ashley lent the club £5m and took security over Edmiston House, the Albion, auchenhowie for HIMSELF and took copyright over the club's trademarks for HIMSELF. There's a huge difference and it's nothing to do with a Traynor statement. Let me know if you're still struggling to see the difference.

  3. Seriously, this is terrific news. He's been one of our best players since he arrived, but he's now cutting out the mistakes, and becoming more effective. He fully deserved the captaincy at the weekend.

  5. I have been doing this at £2pw for several years now since I was invited to the Thornton suite to watch the CL final on the tv screens by the Former Players Benevolent Fund, and a wee talk given by Colin Jackson. The commissions from my £2pw go to the aforementioned fund which I am quite proud of in a small way. The players that served us with distinction that didnt earn fortunes but need medical and social care now that they are in their later years is a magnificent charity to support. While I agree funding our future generations is important and the work Colin does there is outstanding, there are also other very important reputable Rangers charities to consider for bears who are fortunate enough to not miss a couple of quid a week. If Gersnet do one with the commission going to Rangers youths you can count me in.

  6. Windass is The Silencer: he silences the support, silences the opposition, and if there is anyone left to silence, he'll silence them too. (Untill his form dips, of course.)

  7. Bloody Windass, he’s only scoring all these goals to piss off the support, arrogant bastard.

  8. They are sending the registration pack to my Scottish address. Might not be registered till March - but we will still hopefully get there shortly

  9. Have you read that thread on Twitter ? QPR tweeted that their loanee had 4 assists... Some of the Bears responses are hilarious. One guy says "On Monday morning he changed his name to Dalcio, he made a few other changes too, you can have him back in June". Another says "Just so you know, hes put on 2 stone, got a tan, grew his hair and started calling himself Carlos Pena and speaks exclusively Spanish so don't be alarmed when that's the way we send him back to you"

  10. Great news. Worst case scenario for us is that his value is shored up and we can get a decent fee should he move in the next year or so, which I still think could be on the cards.

  11. I'm already paying in £2 a week via this. I nominated Rangers First as my agent I believe, but would look into transferring to Gersnet or just having another £1 a week via Gersnet.

  12. Utterly deluded OP. Really boils my piss when I see Rangers supporters advocate for Ashley in any form.

  13. You were saying Rousseau was being stupid. Why you wouldn’t expect a response is uncertain to me. Either way, can you both either take it private or remember you are moderators of the forum ?

  14. I see Mathew Shiels has also been selected for ROI squad as well. Tough choice, he could play for the country where the fans will hate him, hate who he plays for and boo him every time he touches the ball ......Or he could play for Ireland

  15. He also seems to have seen it as a true honour - he is one of the recruits who simply "gets it".

  16. Bank borrowings have been secured on the assets of the club since the 80s, if not before. Nothing new there. For example, the 1989 accounts state that the overdraft was secured on the stadium and the Albion.

  18. He's 22 and needs first team football. No point in him going back to QPR if they're not going to play him.

  21. I haven't seen him reappear so I suspect he was drunk when he wrote it, or having a seriously bad day. Either way, he could not have been thinking clearly when posting such an opinion.

  22. That would explain why they are going down. Being serious Twente were stripped of virtually everything 2 years ago and only managed to hold on to their place in the Ere divisie and even hold their professional licence at the last moment. They are banned from Europe for 3 years for financial doping They had to do as we did and pick up freebies and loan deals. They had to sell all their good players. While I have to admit Vuckic always seems to be in the best of the rest category, but I don't think he is the sole reason they are doing bad. 90% of the team is crap. I think they are good enough to survive but they are not in a good position. Their position is a bit like ours but the KNVB made the decision and never left it to other clubs supporters to make. I believe they had players owned by 3rd party money men but admit I never really read up on it. My daughter and all her friends and most of my friends are all supporters, but I obviously don't really follow them. They do have a strong link to Stranraer and play a game there every year at some level. That came about as one terminally ill Twente supporter's last wish was to watch an old firm game and a Rangers and Celtic supporter from Sranraer gave up their tickets for him and helper. This year a local supporter's club from Borne collected to pay for a sick boy from Sranraer to have an all expenses paid visit to see FC Twente. Funny we have never played Twente since I lived here although the hotel they stayed and trained in for their pre-season training camp to Germany is just a few kilometres away from me in Holland almost on the Dutch German Border. In the Advocaat years we played Quick Oldenzaal which I got to see. Unfortunately they were not allowed a drink in the social club but marshalled straight onto the bus and away.

  23. Seen some footage of the ground earlier in the day, it looked more like we would be the first team on Dancing on ice .

  25. I absolutely loved the way we were raiding forward all the game, the number of blue jerseys in the Ayr penalty area when the ball was being crossed in was impressive. You could see in the first half it wasn't quite happening and Gelling, the Bears were tripping over each other to score, the Ayr goal was a brain freeze moment for big Ford, so we'll quickly pass that over. When the plan came together in the second half it was a joy to watch, we should have scored eight goals tbh. todays system was far superior than Morelos on his own battling away, ok against better sides we might not get four or five of the players in the box so often, as we'll need to keep it tighter at the back. But that attacking spree was fantastic to see the day. The great things is as well, we have about eight players that can get forward and score tremendous goals now. Some super performances that second half, Goss, Murphy, Windass, John, Bates, Cummings and Morelos. at the back Martin kept marshalling his defence when needed, very happy Bear tonight i am.

  26. The guy “naked bear” Murty mentions is Eli from Mossblown, he has a health issue (blood?) that makes him overheat. Goes to all games in blue vest.

  27. Very professional performance today following Fod's early howler. Like to see us persist with both Morelos & Cummings up front. However not convinced the system today with just the two in central MF would work against better teams. However we are on the right lines now I believe. Lets hope it continues
