  3. I'm still annoyed about the way he set up against Celtc in every match that mattered. I'm still annoyed about what Butcher said in his book. I'm still annoyed about Alex Ferguson's crap about why he left Rangers. That's just the way it is for some of us.

  4. I'd imagine he'll find it tough to get another big job with that kind of reputation, tweeting about himself from burner accounts etc. Its playground stuff.

  5. You'll feel better if you just forget about Beale. Butcher weirdly got a standing ovation recently at Ibrox (not from me I may add) so it seems the majority of us have short memories. To be clear, if Beale came back to do the halftime draw, I wouldn't give him a standing ovation but sure he's not on the list to do that anytime soon. Again, like the appointment and the ime taken to sack Beale, the invitation to Butcher shows those running the club are out of touch with some of the fan base. Or, those on forums are not a true representation of the broader Rangers support.

  6. You're not comparing Neil Warnock with Michel Beale are you?

  7. Neil Warnock has done a decent job at a few English clubs. Levein did well enough to get the Scotland job. Beale did an average (at best) job at QPR during a short spell before he made a snidey move against GvB. He made an arse of things at Rangers, with a squad who looked lost in the end. And then lost the Sunderland job after twelve matches. Then there's his X 'burner' account. The guy's a joke. An absolute joke. I never want to hear his stupid accent or third rate used car salesman from Clapham chat ever again.

  8. Would also endorse the Bluebells Bar for any bears heading to Lanzarote

  9. A very difficult one this week, with no real standout for me. Always a bit more difficult watching on tv as well as you dont see the whole game for the work put in off the ball for example, as I was in Lanzarote for the last week and so had to make do with the welcoming and fantastic Bluebells Bar in Puerto Del Carmen which I would highly recommend to any bears that find their way near there during the season. A very poor pitch and another cheat of a referee (where does Peter find them?) were the standout performers but neither in our favour or in a positive manner, so I will give the vote to the captain who joined Greig as our highest scoring defender of all time in just a fraction of the time it took our so-called "greatest ever" to get there.

  12. It’s everything we saw in his tenure at Rangers. Weak, insecure, shallow, pretentious. Of all the managers we’ve had, Beale and Caixinha were rock bottom. I hope we never see their like again.

  14. My favourite Souness interview about Rangers was as Liverpool manager just after he’d left Rangers in 1991 and was in the manager’s office at Annfield. He was speaking about Scottish football and how there were so many people who hated to see Rangers doing well. These words came very true twenty years later when these people were effectively trying to put Rangers out of business. By the way did you know that in the 5 years Souness was Rangers manager(I’m including 90/91 when he left before the end of season) no Rangers player won the Player of the Year award despite Rangers winning the league in 4 out of the 5 seasons? I think Richard Gough won a Scottish Football Writers Player of the Year Award but this was all the recognition Rangers players got in the Souness years

  16. Unbelievable BBC Scotland managed to waste £160m (5years x £32m) on a programme watched by so few. This is taxpayers and licence fee payers money so they knew they could get away with it. A privately owned broadcaster would have binned the show long ago or tried to make changes to it to try and improve its ratings. But not BBC Scotland. Providing jobs and jollies for the usual suspects The sooner the licence fee is binned and they need to get their revenue in the real world the better. Dross like NINE will get binned earlier or won’t even get started. And the hangers-on will need to find real employment elsewhere

  17. Nein to the Nine. It was launched five years past and allocated an annual budget of £32 million. BBC Scotland's new satellite channel arrived with considerable fanfare and it's flagship news - current affairs show was 'the Nine'. One hour each evening between nine and ten O'Clock between Monday and Thursday. On weekends the Nine became, 'the Seven' and held on to one hour of broadcasting time on each evening between Friday and Sunday. PQ described the Nine as, "a world class programme combining international, UK and, Scottish news with the needs of a Scottish audience". Instead, the Licenses Fee payers received a five year flowing trough in which the usual suspects dipped their hungry snouts. Producers, Directors, Researchers, ............... and, Presenters got to indulge in their favourite topics; Scottish and Irish nationalism plus, a regular dollop of matters Sellik. Amazing really, they could squeeze in such obsessions whilst worshipping Nicola. In excess of 250 daily live briefings from the Former First Minister during Covid Lockdowns and PQ endorsed and broadcast that several minute fawning mush of Primary school children thanking Nicola for keeping them safe. Nothing from the Care Homes. It was a winning formulae, in a country with a population nearing six million, 'the Nine' attracted less than 1,700 viewers on occasion, 'the Seven' plumbed new lows with less than 200. It does NOT even amount to 0.1% of the population. Just another PQ scam, with the likes of RAB Cosgrove and his production company living high on the hog whilst feeding us bon mots on Twinning's Tea and Irish players named Cosgrove playing for Perth Harp in the 19th century. No wonder a breathless RAB in his 72nd year continues to chase up the PQ stairs after Producers. Today, PQ announced the cancellation of the Nine, the Seven and, the Edit. Airmiles Angus Robertson, the Scottish Government's Cultural Secretary criticised the decision to axe the show, claiming it ran counter with the growing success of Scottish TV.

  18. Me Beale is just another one who failed in the job along with Perdo Ally Mark and a few others let's hope he finds a job that uses his coaching skills and gives him a decent living, good luck to him .
