The point is Rangers supporters are paying a licence fee and getting little coverage and what coverage we get is biased against us.3 points

Lancelot du Lac was from Brittany, he attended St Malo Academy. The French do not allow religious interference in public schools.1 point

It really does surprise me, Gonzo, that as someone who has suffered pretty severe physical violence due to football allegiances, that you almost have a willingness to condone such actions. I simply don't get it.1 point

Astounding. Like asking the KKK to advise on a panel discussing the path to racial harmony.1 point

The park is a mixture of grass and artificial fibres, and is known as a "hybrid pitch". If you ask me, it was looking for trouble installing such a surface when your manager has had well publicised previous problems with hybrids.1 point

Another great read. The authors are correct ..... there is no need to read the mindless nonsense from nowhere-even-close-to-being-in-the-know "professional journos" when our online community is so well informed. I also like that there is a good degree of sense and restraint applied to make sure that our targets aren't completely exposed to our competition. The club needs to keep its business relatively secretive, but equally it's useful allowing some of the news to creep out. It keeps us going back to reliable sources online rather than the usual clowns in the MSM. I like that we are able to quickly dismiss reports linking us with so many players. That helps manage our expectations, and it also helps accelerate the demise of our detractors at the BBC, BTsport, Daily rags, etc. Keep up the great work guys!!!! We need to continue to spread the word about Gersnet, 4LHAD, etc to our fellow bears because everyone needs to know where to find out the real Rangers news.1 point

Should caveat that I only saw RTV's highlights but I was impressed with the way HJK played and I wonder if the club are thinking of starting up an official or unofficial feeder club link with them. I think it was Craig Mulholland who said recently that our kids aren't getting the playing experience they need in the lower Scottish divisions because of the style of football and I'm sure he mentioned the possibility of playing in Scandinavia where they play much more on the deck. I watched some highlights of the kid we're linked with Skov Olsen and again you could see straight away that the sides in Denmark play a similar game to us playing primarily on the ground. It seems it would be very prudent for the the club to strike up a relationship or two with some Scandinavian clubs like Helsinki in order to get a first option on their young talent as well as getting our own guys better exprience than they'll get at Stenhousemuir getting clattered challenging for high balls all the time.1 point

I've said it time and time again, he's such an important player due to his goalscoring ability. Very similar to Naismith in that he's such a natural finisher but scores from midfield.1 point

The Arfield finish looks fairly simple but is top class. The Finnish goalie and defenders played the tight possession game very well up until it cost them the 3rd goal and the match. Moral of the story being is that it will always be a high risk strategy unless you have top quality players.1 point

3 Mins of Highlights ... all in all, not too bad. Some neat tricks by the Finnish forwards, BTW.1 point

In my day diamonds were for Elizabeth Taylor our players somehow got the ball up the park and scored goals , plenty of them as well .?1 point

When we were in possession, the diamond looked to have a bit of width. Defoe was through the centre, Morelos was wider, mostly on the left. Both Kent and Arfield took turns at the point of the diamond. Jack was the sitter. Davis was mostly left to Arfield's right on the diamond. As the manager said, the acquisition of both Defoe and Davis allows him to tweak formations. In the first half, out of possession, the midfield diamond was narrow, and Helsinki played into out, often on the edge of our box after two passes. I think we lose the effectiveness of Alfredo the further wide he moves, Kent marginally less so. The back five will have to push further up, there are glaring gaps waiting to be exploited. In all my years, I cannot remember a whole team being replaced at half time? Helsinki finished several weeks past, winning the league by 16 points. It was a good work out, and I thought the Finn's number 22 was a stand out. Tall, slim, slight of build, but moved the ball quickly. His passes with either foot often saw Helsinki playing with their backs to our goal, on the front foot. He looked under 21 and a genuine prospect.1 point

The big striker they have went off injured and I'm assuming Hardie can't play against us, which is good news for next Sunday.1 point

Can't wait for another match at Rugby Park. It's a great surface and really encourages expansive and entertaining football.1 point

Snatched from FF ... ID 10 (you know who) Mind we were linked with the lad Skov Olsen (?) Well Gerrard, Scoulding & Allen went to Denmark today to apparently ‘work on a deal’Bit of 2+2 = 48 but I’m throwing it out there for Saturday night thoughts...... And: (not from ID 10) Rangers asked for this information to be kept under wraps. Also Lee Bowyer of Charlton says that we might be interested in Karlan Grant, their young striker for next season. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karlan-grant/profil/spieler/314183 SCOUT REPORT Rangers watch Karlan Ahearne-Grant as Steven Gerrard plots summer transfer for Charlton striker The Ibrox boss wasn't able to watch the striker in action for himself but he sent someone along in his place as the Light Blues step up their pursuit of the player By David Friel 20th January 2019, 8:00 am Updated: 20th January 2019, 8:39 am STEVEN GERRARD cancelled plans to make a personal check on Karlan Ahearne-Grant today. But the Rangers boss again had the Charlton striker watched as he plots a summer move. SunSport understands Gerrard had requested directors' box tickets for the Valley yesterday. The Ibrox gaffer then had to scrap his plans to watch Charlton take on Accrington Stanley in League One. But Gerrard sent someone else along in his place as he steps up the pursuit of Ahearne-Grant. The in-form striker has been a standout for Charlton and Gers hope to land him for a development fee this summer. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3769107/karlan-ahearne-grant-rangers-steven-gerrard-watch-charlton-transfer-news/1 point
