Our club has to challenge this, out it in media releases, complain to the SPFL about the clear bias of their broadcast partners and demand they do something about it, like if they dont act in an unbiased manner they will not get their contract renewed.4 points

Had the Tav goal (given offside) stood he'd have joined a 9M pound striker on 14 league goals. Tav has 14 league assists, miles ahead of anyone else, including that 9M pound striker who has 5. Not forgetting that Tav also has to defend. We won't know or appreciate what we have until he has gone !4 points

Sounds good. It would need a slight change in attitude from a number of the parties involved (on both sides), but there should be more of an attempt to get rid of the negative connotations.3 points

I don't have an answer either, but I agree with those who say they need to find a solution. The Notting Hill Carnival in London resulted in serious rioting for a number of years. Yet they were able to work with police, the local council and the community to transform it into a global tourist attraction. They could perhaps speak with the people who run the Donegal Orange Walk which passes off peacefully every year and has also turned into something of a tourist attraction. Somehow they're able to hold a decent sized parade in the Republic Of Ireland without any problems. It doesn't strike me as impossible to turn the spectacle of a parade set to music from marching bands into something people with no association or connection might actually enjoy watching. I'm not Chinese but I've watched and enjoyed their New Year parade with the big puppet dragons and drums.3 points

Exactly. So why read their forums or post about them regularly?2 points

As soon as I have time for it. But rest assured, my next rumour post will also skip any names up until people come begging on their knees and all ... ?2 points

It would be like having one of "the green brigade" as a lodger.2 points

Would be as well signing soapy Soutar , we need quality not quantity.2 points

I think the 'Protestant no go area' wording was unwise. It comes down to civil liberties, compromise and whether your actions are negatively affecting other people's rights and places of worship. Some of us are more concerned about NI and PUL issues than others. I don't see attitudes changing much on these matters and have contributed to and witnessed these debates for years on various forums. The term 'going round in circles' springs to mind.2 points

I don't think the players raised their game; they did hoist the ball, however.1 point

If you listen to the pod the finances of the deal, how it's structured, the dates and points of repayment and how amortisation will play a part are all explained in forensic detail. It's a chartered accountants wet dream to be quite frank... It's mainly me who has the inside track, the others are just there for colour.1 point

It was not said we are interested in him it was that his agent was touting him to Celtic and us. As Craig hints at Southampton will probably be looking for most of the 8 million they paid for him. I doubt we are even considering it.1 point

It was Stuart Armstrong dB. But you need to make time to listen to the pod now!1 point

It's Shinnie, McGinn and GMS who have tended to be their main players to carry the ball forward. Yesterday was their Sadiq moment in terms of availability.1 point

Without going into too much detail, two of my acquaintances were verbally abused and spat at due to the fact that one of them was wearing a tartan scarf and they were waiting for the parade to pass in a friends car who happened to have an Irish licence plate. Understandably, this is why their faith has nowt to do with the OO. From my own POV, I have an office in a part of town where parades take place on a frequent basis and I would say that the many of the followers are generally half cut and see it as day out to somehow align it with Rangers and being a "Proddy". I would say it usually provides an air of aggression rather than celebration and would not be surprised if any of the followers have been anywhere near a church they so proudly like to celebrate on that particular day. To be fair to OO as an organisation, these examples I have given were from people who were following the parade as opposed to taking part in the said parade but if the OO want to adapt they have to be somewhat responsible for the people that choose to follow their marches as ultimately this will only reflect badly on them as an organisation. I'm sure I'm not only one with this assertion1 point

Aye, I'm using that superb quote from Ross later on Twitter to share the pod. Brilliant stuff!1 point

I agree Frankie, it was a great segment in the podcast and I loved it. However, quote of the podcast for me was "Losing out on McInnes has gone from embarrassment for the board, to the best bullet dodge since the Matrix" ???1 point

That generation of players were probably closer to the supporter and the empathy that underpins opinions of those individuals had real substance.1 point

Lad looks a real prospect so would be delighted to see this one confirmed.1 point

Dropping likes flies we should open a book to see who's next Saying that he was a fine player often under rated and a decent man ,R.I.P1 point

I would have no problem signing an ex-Celtic player if he was going to improve Rangers. If we could get McGregor I would pick him up from Parkhead. Where did our scouts miss out on him as he was a Rangers supporter as a youth.1 point

Excellent pod lads Good variation to chat and the hour flew by ! Having a guest who offers specific insight into the club makes a real difference IMO and Peter Jenkins certainly knows his stuff !1 point

For those interested in transfer news and some background on Barasic, Grezda and Lafferty you really should have listened to last night's Gersnet podcast. Just as well you can listen to it again today. How would we all feel about signing an ex-Celtic player...?1 point

Agree that they have given us something to think about but I think the team that has given us more to think about is ourselves tbh. Aberdeen will be lucky to have mustered 10 shots on target over the 7 games we have played against them. If they had outplayed us I would be worried about our future but I genuinely feel that now that SG has a season under his belt and with a few additions we will be able to fix the Aberdeen/Killmarnock problem. If we can start addressing the dropped points against those type of teams we will be in the mix for the title.1 point

Thought we were superb today. Wasteful at times, sure, but some of the football was top class and Aberdeen couldn't live with us. Really encouraging stuff.1 point

If a Rangers player had dragged an injured separate entity like no other player from the pitch, would we not have received a long lecture from Professor michael stewart, MB, ChB, FRCS(PQ) on how an injury could have been exacerbated by reckless intervention? Helluva bad for the bio-mechanics, that sort of thing.1 point

Okay guy's I got it. It is indeed going to settings and choosing mirror this phone. Thanks.1 point
