It's clear to me they both read this forum because they were both excellent today, particularly Sands who I thought looked every inch a midfielder we can use, before looking composed and comfortable as a central defender. I wonder if he can handle fullback too?3 points

First Rangers game in a while that i actually enjoyed watching. Sakala was excellent today.3 points

Some clubs have made it work for them. For example, AC Milan (90's) had a very different approach to taking care of the veterans (mind and body) as well as the fact that the players were top level. What a club has to do if they decide to go down the high average age and several chronically injured players is to at least have the very best sports science/medical approach that will get more games/minutes out of those players, at as high a performance level as possible. We seem to have gone down the route of a significant percentage of older/chronically injured players and at the same time, our medical / sports science don't seem to be at the top of their game. Not a good combination.3 points

VAR cost me a correct result by allowing Alfie's goal🙄😀2 points

It's good you mentioned Ryan Kent. I hesitated to do so but you're absolutely right, he did have a good game. He's been rightly criticised recently but he never hid from the ball, always made himself available and his work rate was notches up from recent games. I just wish we could see him play with the same freedom and self-confidence of Fashion Jr.2 points

We do and they showed it today. Like Hearts away many Rangers fans were predicting a heavy defeat. Sands, Davies, King, Lundstrum, Colak, Tillman, Fashion and Kent all played well today. But for a few blocks and goal-lime clearances, we'd have scored 7 or 8 today.2 points

Did Beale take the team today or was he just visiting? 😎 4-1 was a poor reflection on the game. Should been at least 6 or 7. How can a team put in so different a performance from one week to the next?2 points

Amazing what happens when we play at a high tempo and with desire , numerous players could have gotten MOTM awards , hopefully this is the Start of something , criticised this team and the manager but fair play this has been excellent .2 points

Tillman is perfect for the number 10 position, still surprised a lot of people don’t see that. He just needs experience and a decent team around him.2 points

Fashion junior is not even that good at dribbling and he makes it look easy compared to Kent.2 points

I’m a Gio critic but if anyone actually did predict a heavy defeat to the SPFL dross like Aberdeen they need their heads checked.1 point

Two games with VAR and two clear decisions overturned in our favour. Funny that. No idea how the ref missed that he wasn’t even going to look at it with VAR. Tav missed it 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️1 point

Talking a lot leads to contradictions and tying yourself in knots. Having a better manager will immediately result in improved performances. It really is that simple. I think other changes are needed but that'll take longer/more thought.1 point

Somewhat unfair to lump Goldson into that list Bill. He's hardly missed a game for Rangers in 4 years until now. I get your point though. Eyewatering is an understatement.1 point

I reckon Dyche would get the team fit and disciplined and train the players to defend. It won’t be pretty but it will be effective and get them competing with celtic. After a couple of seasons get some poet or artist to take over if we want to. Affordable alternatives who might be willing to take the job? I don’t know if Dyche is affordable.1 point

I wonder how much money Rangers spends in a year, on a week by week basis, on the salaries of player who are injured or otherwise not available? Ofoborh, Helander, Hagi, Roofe, Jack, Goldson, Souttar, Morelos, etc, etc. And how is this trending over time? I've no idea how you would access this sort of information but I imagine the sums are eyewatering.1 point
