  1. Singing a song which asks a celestial sky fairy to save an entitled pensioner who rides a gold carriage and wears a crown of jewels is also bit weird tbh.

  2. Modern Scotland, where you're free to make derogatory comments about Christianity but the nationalist First Minister, who can't ride scooters, falsely accuses Indians of racism and Tweets about obviously doctored videos of footballers, will kick off if anyone slags Islam.

  3. The plague of the one-striker-trash strikes again. That's again at least three times when the ball springs loose in the area and no predator is there. Sakala has some good shots and blocks by the goalie, and IMHO there's no doubt that Morelos would have squandered just as many shots. No matter what Beale is up to this summer, we need another couple of Colak predators. How many passes and tackles has Tavernier completed successfully thus far? Hagi ... hasn't played that much, but so far the game has bypassed him. Every now and then, you want some cohesion to a team, not just another chicken run. Matondo, Sakala, Cantwell, Hagi are all over the front line, so everything that happens seems more like coincidence than planned strategy. It's fine if you want to confuse the opposition, but so far it also seems to confuse our players, as they seem sort of unsure where to play next. Thus, everything around the area looks totally disjointed and happenstance.

  5. He's not interested and if Beale cant see that then weve no hope

  6. I am convinced we've seen the best of Alfredo, wherever he ends up he'll never hit the heights he did for us in the EL. He's a poor finisher with a questionable work ethic and attitude. On his day he's unplayable, but those days are few and far between sadly, goodbye and thanks Alfie. I'm also not convinced there isn't a player within Matondo, and I'm also of the opinion that big Souttar is a far better option than Davies. Looking forward to next season, when I think Beale will significantly improve us.

  7. Anyone that is actually interested. Morelos probably doesn't want to play the remaining games. Get him to ...

  8. Wright looks more willing and able than Matondo and Morelos put together ...

  9. We surely can't get much worse than the likes of Morelos and Kent (on this season's showing). Not sorting out the goalkeeping situation has also been a big problem.

  10. IMHO there's a bit more to it than that, we were superb in the 55 season not just because of our signings, but because we had an extended covid close season in which our coaching staff worked extensively on fitness and tactics, which was massively evident in the way we absolutely crowded teams out, ran them into the ground, then attacked and overloaded en masse. The fat grease has done something similar with tenko fc this season, its not hard, but you need a pre season to do it, and players that are willing to learn, change, and work bloody hard.

  12. Listening to MB, sounds like he is sick of it as well.

  13. We didn't before MB arrived either. We must have converted a relatively high percentage though to score the amount of goals we did. Dry spell, it happens and it would be better if we could just end the season now

  14. With a decent striker, we'd have won 3 or 4-0 today.

  15. What a goal from Cantwell, he was our best player today by a distance

  16. Funnily enough Matondo has created our best chances for Sakala

  20. It’s not as easy as a yes or no for me sorry to be that guy. is he 5 million out of a 20 million budget on 15k a week? Buy. is he 5 million out of a 10 million budget on 30k per week? Not sure given how much we need to recruit this summer. does he even want to come? I don’t think so.

  21. I can think of many reasons not to do any of this .... just no good ones. Personally, I'd like to see some evidence that Beale isn't just conforming to the same philosophy that brought us to this situation ... maintain the status quo, don't take risks, stay loyal to misfiring players, etc. I'd like Beale to show he's his own man and puts the club before the player.

  22. On a more agreeable note, what an absolute peach of a finish that goal was today! That's the sort of goal I daydream about scoring.

  25. Be inventive. Play Wright in a central role? Promote a B striker? Play Tav up top? Anyone but Morelos. Anyone that can run.

  32. I know the young players should be getting a start here and there but there isn't any of them look like they are ready for 1st team football, especially against the hacking sheep

  33. Line up looks very much like before, just different people. Always the same, really. I was checking the teams and wonder why there is no young striker from the junior/u21 team? Only Sakala and Morelos is a bit weak?

  34. Unless there is anything like a Helicopter Sunday collapse over at the Scumhut, there is virtually nothing to play for now. You do wonder whether the "veterans" can be bothered to play for the Gersey now, given their lackluster season thus far. It is - injuries aside - totally up to Beale to change tactics and personal (perhaps with a view to next season) now and show that he ain't doing the same mistakes that SG and Gio did over and over again. I can't say that I envisage any changes happening, so we'll do what loyal Bears do and support the team even though the straits are narrow.

  39. Two minutes in the door! Rangers star Nicolas Raskin has revealed his “ultimate dream” of playing for English Premier League giants Chelsea. The Belgian midfielder admits he decided on a move to Ibrox as it would be the best stepping stone to an eventual move to Stamford Bridge. Raskin has been one bright spark for Rangers in recent weeks amid back-to-back defeats against Celtic that leaves them facing a trophy-less season. He was one of two January signings brought in by Michael Beale alongside fellow midfielder Todd Cantwell and both have been seen as relatively successful buys during a season to forget. But, despite only four months in Glasgow, the 22-year-old isn’t planning on sticking around in Scotland for any lengthy period, with one eye already on a move south. Speaking to Brussells publication La Derniere Heure, he said: “My ultimate dream is to play in the Premier League with Chelsea. Playing in Scotland struck me as a good intermediate step. “But Rangers are still a big name in British football. Before they came in for me, I had approaches from Club Brugge and Genk. “But I think it would be a mistake for me to play for another club in Belgium, as Standard will always be the club I love most. “Other clubs were interested in me as well, but Rangers’ interest was the strongest.”

  40. Truth is it was THEM who didn’t want us to sign RC’s. Not us. My view is the policy was unsustainable and Rangers managers prior to Souness wanted it overturned
