  1. And from quite some distance too. Annoyingly for the occasional RST visitor though, I've always been right about that shower of shite. Not that they actually matter any more now that Murray has gone. I hear the new man has ideas of his own.
  2. Long ago. Something completely new will be required and it will need to be set in place by the club. Any attempt to do so by the fans will result in even greater squabbling and division. Unless Mark Dingwall disappears from the scene, in which case some progress might be possible. Unfortunate it's like that ... but that's probably what will be required.
  3. You've got to love footy forums. Even as we start to crawl out of the morass of David Murray's inept mismanagement, there are still dear sentimentalists climbing over each other to excuse his incompetence and cherish his good points (there must have been some, right?). Which is all fairly predictable - they bought his claptrap when he was here so why not after he's gone - but when I see alleged Rangers fans backslapping Murray for his acumen in appointing good people I really have to respond. Who are these good people? The ones who were better than Campbell Ogilvie for instance? I could give you Walter Smith but even then I'd have to point out that he was the default choice who only got the job because Graeme Souness left - and who got the job second time around because Murray had already lost all confidence in his ability to select a new manager. Sure, Walter has been a success but let's put that down to Walter rather than any discerning judgement on the part of the Fat Snake. But otherwise, has Murray picked effective people in our ticketing office, our PR department, our merchandising department? Has he chosen a top CEO then? Perhaps he chose the best man in charge of stadium security? Maybe he chose a dynamic and effective board of directors? No? Who then?
  4. I've no idea what kind of owner Craig Whyte will turn out to be, that's a judgement for the future. But I can hardly find words to express the relief and joy I feel at David Murray's departure. Time to get back to Ibrox at last. I think that's about all I want to say about it.
  5. That's the most factually accurate description I've seen in a while.
  6. Give me fucking strength! Are Rangers fans still reading anything that bastard Spiers writes.
  7. It looks to me that Alistair Johnston has done his job well and we should be grateful to him for that. i would have been a lot less confident if he had not scrutinised, fretted over, checked, tested resolve, negotiated on behalf of the club, etc. Personally, he looks like the sort of chairman we should have had ten years ago.
  8. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't but for all the rumour and counter rumour you still have no idea what that truth might be. Neither do you have any idea which rumours are genuinely held and which are extensions of feeble egos. Other than filling forum pages, what value that all presents escapes me.
  9. Exactly right, otherwise why say anything right now.
  10. I'm not actually much exercised either way but I think your information is accurate if you turn out to be right and not accurate if you don't. Qualifications that try to place it somewhere in between are essentially pointless. personally, I'd be so concerned about being wrong on a subject so important to so many people that I'd find it difficult to promote an outcome that hadn't already presented itself.
  11. However, since you're willing to put your opinions forward voluntarily, you also need to acknowledge that you haven't exactly been a reliable source of information to date. Sometimes it's best to hold your own counsel and let events speak for themselves - otherwise you need to accept what follows misplaced speculation, no matter how well-founded you might think it is.
  12. Plenty eh? Glad it's not just me and Craig then. (Sorry Craig, obviously I'm just using names that don't apply in order to flush out those that do)
  13. Not sure about the "we" but I didn't say they were ALL wankers. However, tell me there are no entrenched wankers who live their lives asserting personal importance through he pages of FF and I'll take it all back.
  14. Haha - it's par for the course. Think yourself lucky to have been banned from that cesspit of entrenched wankers. Breathe the air of freedom and enjoy it.
  15. I see absolutely no basis for the criticism of the scrutinising committee. If the Whyte bid is suspect then what would you have them do? Ignore the danger and nod it through simply to relieve the anxiety of an impatient support that has no idea whatsoever of the facts involved? Having spent 22 years under the wrong leadership, I'd rather not take a chance on repeating the exercise. Once the deal goes through there's no way to undo it. As things stand today there's still a choice.
  16. By far the best thing that could happen on this occasion would be for some "punishment" to be meted out.
  17. One sided contest I'm afraid and I was the one bricking it big time.
  18. Just logged on expecting to read about a done deal and a new owner confirmed. Damned disappointing to see it's still up in the air. However, having just driven the length of Mississippi dodging tornadoes all the way, I think it's fair to say there really are worse things than David Murray. Seen some terrible scenes of destruction today.
  19. What did Marvin teach us? Has everyone forgotten already? KEEP BELIEVING!
  20. Aye, who cares Lennon. Another couple of years and no ne will remember you or your inferiority complex. Just another bitter taiga that passed through our infested land.
  21. Applause? Is he actually dead now then? Is that why the bheasts are grieving and spineless bears being brought to consider acts of empathy? Or is this just another cheap trick to rub our faces in the dirt while glorifying the piece of shit currently occupying the manager's chair at Parkhead? Are there really Rangers fans around who seriously think there is some genuine purpose to the bheasts' applause? Get a grip on your selves ffs.
  22. There seems to be a belief afoot that unless you go out of your way to show solidarity with Lennon then you are somehow condoning the pathetic idiots who are sending bombs through the post, whichever side of the divide they actually hail from. This is ridiculous. Lennon is a devious, hateful piece of pond life who will never receive anything from me but contempt. The idea of compromising my feelings because a bunch of bigoted moron are lighting candles and singing IRA songs, while their media buddies airbrush their behaviour like a session in the confessional, is contemptible. We may well have our share of morons but we stand comparison with the bheasts any day. I personally have nothing to be ashamed of and a great deal to be proud of as a Rangers supporter - and I intend to continue to stand proud in the face of this onslaught of bullshit and lies.
  23. Sorry but have you lost your farking mind? You would have us be complicit in the fabricated victimhood they're wallowing in, just so that we might salve some imaginary and utterly unjustified sense of guilt. Until you recover some composure and are able to stand up for your own then you Sir can stick your applause for Lennon up your twitching arse. Never heard such weak-kneed shite in all the time I've posted here. Shame on you.
  24. Everywhere around Bheast FC are lies and deceit. This will be no different.
  25. I think we should just get on with supporting our team and forget about Lennon or his bombs. Making gestures of support for this rancid human being is neither helpful nor justified.
