Blessing in disguise getting this game out of the way early, in these conditions.5 points

Somewhat surprised that Balogun starts ahead of Edmondson. Still, it will be good to see him in action4 points

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen people saying they were annoyed we didn’t use more subs... im confused though.... you say you’re annoyed we didn’t use more subs but then say we were comfortable. Surely if we are comfortable there isn’t a great need to use subs ? The use of subs can have a negative impact rather than positive - so if we were comfortable why change something that is already working ? as someone said, McGregor had a very quiet day - so why change the personnel if our keeper isn’t being troubled and we are already 1-0 up ?3 points

I also thought Jack strolled it , and Aribo is an absolute star , the fact he had 5 Aberdeen players around him in the corner and they still couldn’t get the ball off him , class .3 points

Absolutely. How many times have Aberdeen got a goal from nothing against us?3 points

Ok-- I really like Balogun. He's only played 33 minutes, but still. He looks composed, but I like the way he breaks the lines with a run; so simple but really effective. He's doesn't have to run the to opposition box like he did just there! Just one man is enough.3 points

I agree it's an opinion, however all the noise about Morelos is in the Scottish gutter press! he is our player and SG has said no reasonable offer has been made. I will not listen to the Scottish gutter press regarding anything to do with Rangers. Morelos is our player, top player at that, and I will be happy to see him remain our player for this season again. Yet, as I said there seems to be a lot of fans who would like to see him leave!.2 points

Thought we were in control of the game mostly without playing well at any stage. Jack & Kamara were almost completely anonymous, Tav was poor, Arizona was class, Balogun had an impressive debut without being tested too much, and I never felt we were in trouble, which doesn’t happen at Pittodrie too often. Agree with previous comments that SG needs to use his bench more. There was a stat that came up midway through second half that showed top 3 clubs who got points from losing positions and bheasts led with 14 with Dolly second on 13. We were unsurprisingly not on list as we do not change the game with our subs very often. Those in-match decisions are what managers earn their money for and what separates winning managers from the rest. This season we can list 9 subs and use 5, and SG has to use his bench much much better if we are to have any chance of 55. Either to cement a lead or to chase a deficit, we must make good changes to the starting 11amd I felt we didn’t do this today. Delighted at the 3 points from the second toughest away game on our schedule but plenty needing worked on. I will however take the same result from the next 37 league games.2 points

SG stated that Alfie dropping beep was a tactical change to allow more space behind and worked especially at the goal. On reflection and looking at match stats it was a comfortable victory and certainly we can take more positives than negatives from the game.2 points

You would rather we got rid of Morelos? I would rather we kept him.2 points

Good result but second half performance was average and we didn't work the Aberdeen goalkeeper enough.2 points

SG: Make a run, Fredo! AM: Meh... *fight at the corner flag* AM:2 points

Lawell will no doubt be working on a strategy to reduce points for top 6 games won without a crowd...2 points

Better side overall, but we were quite rusty. The one man that strolled it (Balogun) has been playing for a few weeks.2 points

Woop! We're back! (It's been a while since I've done it, so be on the look out for any mistakes...) Correct Result (1pt): Everyone, except two. Correct Number of Rangers Goals (1 pt): compo, Stewarty and Ted McMinnime (TED). FIrst Rangers Goalscorer (2 pts): BSRT, Franc, WB91 and Coop. Correct Score (3 pts): Stewarty and TED. Latest Standings:2 points

Don't see that happening, don't think they know how to do anything but what they're doing. What we all knew they would do.2 points

Kamara looks like he's regained his confidence. He's not done anything, but just his overall attitude looks better. On form, he's a terrific player.2 points

Morelos made 5he goal today and rarely gave the ball away. I thought he had a good game. Aberdeen seem to drag us down to their level every time we play them. Stevie g needs to start utilizing his substitutions better. We created next to nothing in the second half and looked stale.1 point

I think he is just lacking match sharpness. Quite a few times today I thought he used more touches than I would expect. It will be better in a few weeks.1 point

A great three points overall. Dropping points today was entirely possible and unbearable to think about. Kent looks sharp but Morelos and Hagi don't yet. If the rest don't sharpen up then our difficulties with Aberdeen will continue. I'm not sure yet but Helander might have to work hard to get back in the side.1 point

He appears to have a very high football IQ. I think Gerrard is trying to maximize that IQ by putting him out on the wing and having him rotate inside with Kent. However by doing so he is magnifying one of his weaknesses, pace. Sit the guy in the center, and let him deal. Keep it simple stupid.1 point

Kent for me. As much as I was impressed by Balogun he wasn't up against too much to win MOTM, excited by this signing after watching him for the first time, experienced confident player which bodes well for the rest of the season. we have two other good CB in Helander & Edmundson as well.1 point

Good 3 pts to start with but my main worry would be the way we lost our way in the 2nd half. I've got a feeling that we may have dropped points in a game like that if they had a crowd behind them1 point

Seriously away and have a lie down , that’s just a ridiculous statement .1 point

These stupid wee nudges where players throw themselves to the ground are so frustrating. Refs really need to just play on with them.1 point

Feel sorry for big George, but will be good to see what Balogun offers!1 point

That's kind of what I thought. I'm still quite happy with the signing, though. He has the athleticism; the finer match qualities can be worked on.1 point

His positional sense is woeful. Needs a Hell of a lot of work before he's ready for first team action.1 point

It would be really good to see Jamie Murphy come on today. I still believe he is one of our best players when fit and possesses many of the qualities we often lack. It would be good to see Calvin Bassey get minutes if the opportunity arose too. He looks like a real prospect. I really hope Greg Stewart gets more opportunities this season too. As predicted, he was very productive with the very little time he was given on the pitch last season. It isn’t easy to produce when you aren’t played regularly and are thrown on here and there but in the equivalent of just over 4 x 90 minutes he scored 3 and assisted 3.1 point

Apparently we'll be wearing it tomorrow (I really don't like us playing in an away kit unnecessarily). The design is fairly plain.1 point
