FWIW, I don't think there's over-confidence amongst the fans - just more confidence than when we played Zenit which is a good thing. There's a big difference between playing in Germany or at Ibrox or in Seville in 30degC temps but we have a good chance and that's as much as we can ask. If the players approach the game in the same way they have others recently - especially Leipzig - then Frankfurt won't have it all their own way.6 points

I think that 'Goal' account is a parody, I think it's a bluenose at the wind up. Funny all the same.4 points

Would anyone else like to keep Diallo for next season? He's clearly talented, but he's only now started to meet the demands of our games. Saying that, we have played poor teams recently.4 points

A one off game who knows how it will go would be nice to score first though.3 points

This is the best chance any team has had in the 3 recent finals. While that is the case we are rightly the underdogs and it will be a huge achievement to win. We have a chance but it is anything but a sure thing.3 points

Similar to Lowry, I've been disappointed he hasn't been used. We chucked the title in January and February with 4 draws against dross. We didn't mix it up throughout that period and I think Lowry and Diallo had something to offer and might have just provided us with the creativity we needed. With regards to next season, not a bad option but there may be better ones out there. We haven't won the recruitment battle the past couple of windows and we need to win the next one.3 points

I am disgusted there will be nothing at Ibrox for the supporters who didn't get tickets. Correction, I am furious. Complete contempt and disregard for supporters.2 points

I suspect we will have to await the next set of Accounts for the answer? However, I remember the last AGM where it was stated £3 million had been set aside to cover costs. The printed verdict states costs have NOT been awarded, thus no clear guilt either way. I have read our responsibility might have cost us as little as a million pounds? However, the most reliable source on all things financial at Rangers is Phil McFournames alter ego, 'Rugger Chap' - he says our Directors are currently in a frenzy attempting to sell more shares to raise the £20 million owing.2 points

Good to see us winning these games without much effort. Great to see Lowry getting minutes too. He should be used in the final if we need a goal.2 points

No real stand outs but I thought Goldson was our best player - solid defensively and a threat going forward as well (including an assist).2 points

Big Rangers fan too IIRC. I'm sure he scored a winner v them last season at Sharkheid when county beat them there in the cup maybe?2 points

Crazy. You'd have thought the linesman could have pointed out the error as well.2 points

BTW, on around 75 minutes, the ref gave us a corner on the Main Stand side but the ball definitely went out at the Govan side (Copland Road end) - what was that all about!?2 points

Now ready for all first picks to be rested against Hearts. This includes Tavernier and Goldson.2 points

Lack of what staff? Security, Police, food outlets are not Rangers staff. What other staff are required? Another alternative is to outsource to an events management company. Beam-back is lower priority than the game but we managed both on 2008, absolutely no reason we couldn't manage both this time around either. Every other club involved in a European Cup Final are managing to facilitate a beam-back so why cant we? Another huge own-goal by the board.1 point

Take a look at the views of fans. They do not see themselves as a low priority. All other clubs in the final have managed it. The question is why can't we?1 point
-
Its only not possible because of lack of preperation , they could have gotten outside staff /contractors to do this , for gods sake theres a Harry Stiles concert in a few weeks . dont tell me they need Rangers staff to set it up .1 point

Popular cinema chain Vue Cinemas have confirmed they will screen the Europa League Final between Rangers and Eintracht Frankfurt live at a number of Scottish cinemas. Rangers fans have been frantically planning their trip to Seville for next week’s Europa League Final but, for those staying at home, a new alternative way to catch the showcase final is on offer. Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side will line-up for their first European semi-final since 2008 hoping to immortalise themselves in Ibrox history, as they look to lift the Europa League Trophy by defeating Oliver Glasner’s Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday May 18. Thousands of fans are expected to travel to the Spanish city, while a lucky few Gers fans have even been able to snap up the limited tickets to the game at Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, but for those not able to make the trip, Vue Cinemas are offering fans the chance to watch the game on the big screen. As per the Glasgow giants previous ties, the game will be shown live via BT Sport, however, for those fans wanting to take in the atmosphere on a giant screen alongside fellow fans, Vue Cinemas will be screening the game at their Glasgow Fort, Edinburgh Omni Centre, Stirling, Inverness, Livingston and Aberdeen cinemas. The decision follows the success of Vue’s screening both legs of Rangers’ semi-final ties against RB Leipzig, which one Twitter user described as “electric” following the breathtaking 3-1 second leg win last week. With under a week until the big day, Gers boss van Bronckhorst is still sweating over the availability of striker Kemar Roofe, who has been missing since Rangers’ Scottish Cup semi final win over Celtic in April. “It is going to be a close call for Kemar,” said the Dutch manager. “So we have to assess him day by day. “I think (Ryan) Jack is ahead of him. Jack will be ready for next week but I still don’t know about Kemar.” Screenings of the UEFA Europa League Final will begin at 7.30pm, with prices starting at £19.99 rising to £23.99 for VIP seats, with tickets via the Vue website subject to availability.1 point

Think he got a kick on the ankle v RB. Touch and go according to Gio. More chance of Jack making it than Roofe.1 point

I enjoyed that tonight. Good performance, albeit it felt like a training match at times. Disappointing to see so many fans leave early when we should be cheering the team on for the big games to come. One more diddy match then it's the big time!1 point

Only another couple of places on both this seasons 5 year list and next seasons list. We are currently ranked 17th for this season alone and a win would take us to 10th, above Benfica, Athletico Madrid, PSG & Juventus, while we have already outpointed Inter, Man Utd & Barcelona. Not too shabby!1 point

I don't see how moving the Scottish cup final helps us in the Europa League final. Also we have the option of resting our full team in the league game before it as it's not going to impact the league positions of either club involved.1 point
