The council in question has a track record of hiring Celtic fans in every area possible. We've all seen the park workers etc wearing Celtic shirts at work. How do people expect we build professional relationships with Celtic fans out of interest?3 points

I've no idea the veracity of any of these claims, but picking a public fight with the council's planning department sounds like a perfect example of winning a battle but losing the war. Having a good working relationship with the council, no matter how difficult that might be at times, is definitely in the club's interests. Anyway, we're back at Ibrox again, in the grand scheme of things the delay was annoying but temporary. Hopefully the board can address some of the other issues facing us now.3 points

Nah not a chance. I well wanted rid of him but didnt want Lopetegui. There was a large petition against Lopetegui appointment as a lot of fans knew he is Moyes 2.0.2 points

Still think availability this season will be the difference between a challenge and just floating along to second. On that, Souttar (touch wood) has been fit for a while now - he was seen as a crock when we signed him yet he's been available for a good couple of seasons now.2 points

They can't play in the same competition, iirc. Red Bull had to sell Salzburg when they and Leipzig qualified for the CL.1 point

Seen a bit of his conference and iv'e no doubt he's a first class man in whatever his own line of business is but he spoke to much like a fan and there's not a lot wrong with that but i would want someone who can talk freely without stopping and starting when i interrupted by the press we need a man who can take command of the room and if needed put offers fimly in their place control the narrative at the end of the day we badly need a first class CEO .1 point

Dessers for his goals and general good play. Thought Jefte, Barron and Souttar were all good again. A fantastic double save from Butland worthy of note as well.1 point

Jefte easily the best player for me. Dessers scored two, won a penalty and still missed another 4 or 5 good opportunities. I thought Barron had his best game to date, only one stupid mistake this week so hopefully he is learning to cut those out his game and concentrate on his better attributes. Liked Bajrami but think he is wasted out wide, get him in the 10 slot! Honourable mention for big Soapy, another stellar performance.1 point

Be interesting to say if he’s got anything to say about Dave King1 point

Best to have a bad relationship with the council. Everybody within the club needs to be able to identify friends/enemies and act accordingly.1 point

Quite possible for Rangers and Dessers to both be rubbish. No idea why so few understand this.1 point

Even if he doesn't have much new to say, having a public presence is a good thing.1 point

What did everyone think of Lyall Cameron - thought he was Dundee's best player and he put in a few good set piece deliveries. Would be interested in us getting him in. Out of contract with Dundee in 2025 is he?1 point

Said after the game, Jefte, Tav, Butland, Barron Dessers played well and Lawrence and Bajrami contributed. But with two goals and winning the penalty, Dessers all day long for me.1 point

Boyd also cost 500k and was on ten grand a week. Dessers was about 5 million and not far off 30k per week. So Boyd’s shortcomings were far more palatable.1 point

Got to actually give credit to Chelsea, whilst West Ham were awful Chelsea were organised, drilled and knew what they were doing. Caicado looked back to his best. Fair play to the coach for gathering a core number of maybe 16 / 17 players and sticking with them, they are going to be entertaining a bit like back in the late 90s early 2000s when they had Zola, Jimmy Floyd etc. That Man City Arsenal match had a bit of everything except great free flowing football but it was a good watch. Arsenal should have held on though, they were defensively set up superbly in the second half but let it go at the last seconds. The refereeing though is so inconsistent on so many levels. But the fact City didnt win is good for the league and hopefully they drop more points at Newcastle next week.1 point

Agreed, we'll need to keep our better players fit and playing most weeks. But just as important will be PC deciding what is best 11 is and sticking with it for a large percentage of our games.1 point

Naismith’s departure was inevitable. He was my tip in the competition. Too obvious, I suppose and I ignored ex-Hearts man, Levein. A pattern developing. Any other former Gorgie boys in hot seats?1 point
