  1. Wonderful news and proof that action is so much better than words. This sort of thing kinda makes VB stand out from the pack.
  2. It's a while since I looked but there used to be a load of similar Hamburget clips on YouTube. This is the club whose chairman (president?) stood up and said "we are also a protestant club"
  3. We are what we've all been watching. Dreadful, inept, woeful, rank, clueless, ineffectual, awful ............ I could go on. Anyway, why the OP question? The answer is obvious, it's not as if they've been hiding anything.
  4. Can't tell you the final score but many police vans and ambulances, with an helicopter up above. Big march of Hamburg fans on London Road drew some heat from neds.
  5. Already done!
  6. Sad, bitter and twisted little scrote. This lonely scumbag is so emotionally dependent on those at parkhead for recognition and favour that he can hardly breathe in case he frightens them away. Let's hope his breakdown isn't too painful when it comes.
  7. This apparently happened outside the ground so is not the direct responsibility of Rangers FC. It is the responsibility of the police to pursue the perpetrator, if there is one. Has Edu made a report to the police? There's been no mention of it amongst all the noise going on. The club issued a statement for one reason only, to protect the club's image, and quite rightly so. But by the time they could comment it had gone around the world and back again and I imagine the club is furious at Edu's (apparent) decision not report the matter to his employers before placing it on the global airwaves for anyone to pick over. Extremely naive behaviour from Edu, regardless of whether it happened or not, and as yet we have no hard evidence either way.
  8. Wonder what Christian Dailly is doing now? Ouch.
  9. It will BE her address.
  10. I don't think money is a particular problem when it comes to securing a manager, we CAN afford that. What would definitely be a problem for more prominent managers is our inability to provide them with money for players and many managers with other options would be seriously put off by that.
  11. Whatever actually happened, I can't help seeing a certain parallel with Manchester, where we were accused, tried and convicted before a single shred of evidence had actually emerged. Who was surprised when, two years later, barely a credible fact had been confirmed and nowhere near as much proved as swept under the GMP carpet. When you look at Manchester in the cold light of day and compare it with a hundred other such incidents, it really was precious little to write home about, other than the fact it was Rangers. Here we are again with Rangers and the word racist being bandied about like blood brothers - when not one piece of evidence has emerged. Some news programmes are saying it was one fan, others are saying it was two fans, no one has a scooby who they were and they will almost certainly never be identified. No one knows what they did or didn't say, all we have is an apparent spur-of-the-moment twitter from someone who should have known a great deal better. Meantime, the club has de facto confirmed the abuse took place by condemning it in public when no one at the club seems to have any more evidence than I do, which is none. So another slur has been accepted by the club without any evidence being necessary. The world and his dog are rushing around confirming their personal credentials by condemning racism before knowing for sure that any racist behaviour even took place. If Maurice Edu is ever found to be manipulating the situation, I hope he is dealt with in equally universal terms. Because this seems less credible the more I think about it.
  12. I'm sure you're right but it's always useful to explore the less comfortable margins of these affairs.
  13. And all of us would have expected Boyd to score that penalty. Could Kris Boyd have possibly contributed less than Kenny Miller on the night?
  14. OK what's going on here?
  15. Or perhaps he wanted to leverage the club in a way they couldn't resist. Sadly, there are people in this world who use victimhood to achieve personal aims.
  16. It makes my heart swell to read that. It reminds me of a time when Rangers didn't just pay lip service to the notion of success and being the best they could. Everyone should compare Colin Stein's words with those of today's players after an appalling result.
  17. He does seem to be something of a poser and the way he leapt to air this in public was at the best ill-judged and at the worst attention-seeking. Does anyone seriously think his actions on twitter will help to catch any culprits, whether they were Rangers fans or otherwise? It may all be as he describes but I'll reserve judgement until and unless something more tangible emerges than Mr Edu's emotions.
  18. I should add that it was the unheralded Scot Symon who produced the best footballing side of my lifetime at Ibrox.
  19. Bill Struth did, Scot Symon did, Jock Wallace did, Graeme Souness did ...... and yes, even Walter Smith did. In fact, it seems there quite a case to be made for hiring a Rangers man without huge managerial baggage. Even Davy White and John Greig put teams on the park who would fight to the final whistle for the cause.
  20. I've been thinking about this whole thing and I can't help feeling something isn't quite right. It's just a feeling but somehow I find it hard to believe that Rangers fans, neds or not, would racially abuse Maurice Edu. Could it be that our Maurice is being something of a silly boy here?
  21. On the way out to the warm up....... feck it, as he steps off the bus.
  22. Please folks, stop suggesting Craig Levein. I'd rather have ten more years of Walter Smith than that Rangers-hating bastard at Ibrox. Some of you will know how much I want ten more years of Walter Smith.
  23. As Captain Mainwaring would say, I wondered who would be first to spot that one. Wilson, take that man's name.
  24. Unfortunately we're not nearly that clever.
  25. Fellow over on RM posted these interesting stats from our last 5 hone Euro games........... oh dear 0-0 Sporting Lisbon 0-0 Fiorentina 0-0 Kaunas 1-4 Sevilla 1-4 Unirea Points gained = 3 Points dropped = 12 Goals for = 2 Goals against = 8
