I wasn't there so can only go on what I've read and heard. I've seen one video which shows a lad lash out at a couple of different people. And I saw another video of a couple of angry and aggressive pro-union types shout and bawl at someone just off george square. It does seem to have been a rather unsavoury affair, one which I'm sure we can all condemn. But lets not pretend that this represents the average No voter, any more than the idiots burning the union jack the previous night in george square represent the average yes supporter. Police investigations are continuing, so we may yet hear of more arrests.

Charles Green will want 5% donations pledged though... -
Concerning to hear about more loans when we haven't even paid back George Letham. Not unexpected however...

To be expected. Seems to be have been a pretty clear breach of a technicality.
-
Confirmed?

I only saw from the 2nd half onwards last night, and I admit to not paying the game my full attention, but a lot of the criticisms of Ally over the past two seasons seem evident. If he is to continue, he needs to change things up in his coaching team and to get some sort of technical coach in to support him.

Oh, alright then... I'm in, and fresh from winning the WC predictor at work Nae pressure!

Yet another confirmation why I don't bother keeping up with his ramblings.

Yeah, I get the sense that he found SPF1 just too easy, which then led him to take much more risk than he should. Big challenge next year to see how he steps up.

King Could Face Probe Over Share Price Fixing Claim
stewarty replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
What a farce. No surprise to see the journalist by-line. Williams has form in swallowing PR spin. -
Although it may not be easy to tell, I'd imagine TBO numbers will naturally drop a bit. One outcome that we might get if ST renewals are as low as rumoured, the Board will need to call upon existing investors for an interim share issue (as approved at the AGM), before they can go ahead with the larger share issue in the autumn. We would see whether or not the club's current investors are happy to back the current regime given what has happened since the AGM.

Having waited till the price crashes near rock bottom so that he can no doubt make a tidy profit at some point in the future. -

The First Annual Gersnet Dinner (The Bears Picnic)

I didn't make it in the end for family reasons, but sounds like a good night had by all. When's the next one? -
Apologies, this is off topic... Can't remember his name, but he's the MD of Babcock Marine (or similar) who operate the Faslane naval base. The CBI have been forced to register as a campaigning organisation for Better Together by the electoral commission having come under pressure from a pro Indy group Business for Scotland. It seems there are a lot of questions being asked of the CBI in terms of clarity over their Scottish membership, to what extent they have consulted with its members before producing articles and opinions on their behalf. They've also been putting themselves forward as a neutral organisation, despite the appearances to the contrary. Ergo, the organisation and their Chairman are under a lot of scrutiny at the moment. And a lot of their members are resigning because they are no longer neutral. This includes several government bodies, universities and some commercial entities who have neutral stances and don't want this compromised through association with the CBI given its electoral commission registration.

The UoF expands on my first thoughts nicely. Something like this was entirely expected. Sadly, the usual suspects will lap it up and we will be mired in squabbles, as I suspect is the intention of the statement.

It would be expert timing actually. The Chair of CBI Scotland is getting a bit of a pounding at the moment...

"We don't want to go back to the dark days of administration. Everything is a possibility at the moment..." (Mr Easdale) I may have taken this out of context as I am quoting from the BBC article and didn't hear the actual interview (I don't think so, though), but it seems pretty clear that he's warning of administration 2 if we don't renew season tickets. I presum this has been notified and disclosed to AIM given that its clearly price sensitive information. No doubt our NOMAD will clarify soonest.
