  1. Just wanted to say thoroughly enjoying posting & being involved in the Gersnet podcast - a breath of fresh air You guys seem to grasp what I put up is latest ‘rumours’ & lack of hostility thoroughly enjoyable, some will happen, some will not etc On the Man City kid link, Gerrard denied this to mates who are out reporting in Croatia Said nothing imminent coming in & refused to get involved in questioning (FYI take from that what you want, I have no knowledge of likelyhood simply passing on) Sadiq didn’t travel because he’s not up to speed fitness wise, that’s all

  2. This week I will be watching from Finland ... or Canada ... or Spain. I’m not sure. I’ll decide just before kick off.

  5. They sold a couple of players and it has been sunny. Absolute chaos.

  6. I really dont mind selling Wes and Windass as both are, IMO, below the level of player we should be trying to fill our team with, both in playing ability and winning attitude. What must be taken into consideration though is if we are selling to the English market, at PL or Champ level, that the fees are not realistically aligned to ability. £3M each should be the absolute bottom dollar price. Check out both their stats and compare them to English Champ players who are going for £10M. Even if we have to accept a bid of around £3M each, what absolutely must be included is a sell-on clause whereby we get 10/20% of further transfers. I am hoping we had similar for Waghorn, and if not someone deserves to be sacked. The prices for poor players in the English market are going up hugely every window, when selling to the English market we must be taking this into account. If Derby buy Waggy for £8M, we should be getting at least £800K from that deal. If not, why not?

  7. Good stuff as always ? Good discussion on transfer fees and pay offs. Waghorn and Mackay etc most would agree we sold ourselves short at the time. Giving that Wes will probably end up in England then asking price must reflect that i.e. £2-3m. The pay offs for so many of Pedros guys are pretty galling. It would be interesting to hear how we compare to other clubs on this score - Obviously Martin Bains record was shocking and i'd hope we keep well away for that type of performance.

  8. It won't matter whether the judge sees it or not. It will be the interpretation of the contract that was freely entered into is what will be important.

  9. Not sure Windass’s departure will be anything to do with his ability, more the fact that his attitude is a disgrace From the nonsense online with his contract & then leaking to press yesterday he is dropped for tomorrow, the lad has serious attitude issues As I said on the pod, if those bids come as expected, we won’t be difficult to deal with

  10. He'll be filling his face with BBQ sausages at 32 degrees I thought Frankie was particularly 'jolly' at the start of play but got up to speed quickly thereafter Thank's for the efforts lad's, good listen !

  11. Something else we could do without. Get the feeling Miller and Wallace will get some pay-back and the club will shout at the SPFL.....but behind the noise, it'll become evident that this whole set of shenanigans was the wrong route to go down. Fracking unnecessary mess !

  12. Has someone got the number for the Samaritans for Rousseau? I'd be delighted to get anywhere near £3m for Windass.

  16. this tweet has been deleted...apparently part ownership of a player is not allowed. Anyone cast a light on the rules ?

  17. He should tell everyone a different team and see what one get out. Then he should attach a car battery to whoever it was ears.

  18. Didn't Windass put something on Twitter about being dropped (I'm not on Twitter, so unsure how true that is)? Why would someone at Rangers give the opposition an advantage? We are our own worst enemy at times.

  19. Maybe not quite. Windass can be good then drift out of a match and once he's drifted out he's not coming back in. Seems this boy will always be in the match but can be maddeningly inconsistent as he goes from remarkable to woeful and back again. I scoured a lot of articles about him and though he may frustrate us at times I feel he's going to produce some classic moments on a regular basis along with his flawed moments which hopefully can be reduced by training that out of him. All commentators say he's highly unpredictable and very difficult to play against.

  20. Genuinely, I am confused! Is there a suggestion that Chris is romantically linked with Eilidh Barbour? Connie will be raging, if so.

  26. I'v not seen it anywhere either, I would still be open to starting him as a striker, particularly away from home where we may have to play on the break, mind you I think that might be his plan with Sadiq, that seemed to be the way he played for NAC going by the youtube compilations of him. On Solanke, I'm not sure if its maybe the fact he has been at Chelsea and Liverpool, I maybe had him as a better player in my head than he actually is, I expected a lot more from him, I don't think he is a natural finisher either, he does work a lot and seems like a pest.

  30. IMO our club is far from being anywhere near stable and we show few signs of getting anywhere close. Instead we are run in a reactionary way that ensures ongoing firefighting that costs money, energy and to a degree, reputation. We have to hope that the gamble on Gerrard&Co works at first team level and that can become the main driver onwards and upwards. It's not going to happen overnight and he has to be given time and reasonable resource.

  31. His life and particularly his tenure as Rangers manager in the mid 70s are truly the stuff of legend. When I read about him getting radios sent up trees, whilst serving in the far East, in order to hear the Rangers score, that was just incredible. My favourite Ranger of all time.

  32. I’d expect an end to Josh Windass’s Rangers career pretty soon West Ham rumoured to be sniffing around Wee Rangers pictures on his Twitter won’t fool the management especially when’s he’s moaning to people about being dropped

  34. The first paragraph is a red herring though. Whilst it is accurate, you are attaching your own personal belief in both instances to support what you want to support. Yes, it is diplomacy. But there is nothing from May or the Queen suggesting support of Erdogan.... but likewise there is nothing from them making condemnation of him either. Yet in Ozil's situation you have attributed him as being supportive of Erdogan based on nothing more than him being a private citizen. Not only that, but even when he explains himself you decide that his explanation doesn't fit in with how you wish to view his meeting with Erdogan. If you can't see the hypocrisy in that then I can't help you. Your second paragraph is a personal choice which is yours to make. Doesn't mean that everyone has to follow your course of action.
