I definitely think this is why Kamara has been drafted in.3 points

Suppose it is a good idea with good intentions but,IMHO,it will only add a loaded gun against us,as the slightest sectarian shout or possible incendiary action or anything untoward will be jumped upon and used against anyone taking part. Also the police would be out in numbers to GLADLY take action.2 points

We'd have to pay the bastards a transfer fee for Ferguson. Shinnie would be a Bosman, and would join us for free: a double dunt for the rubes. I'm not saying we should sign him, mind; on that I remain to be convinced.2 points

No, it's not necessary. The ever helpful, Hugh Keevins has thankfully redefined sectarianism. Yep, that Hugh Keevins, the one that habitually described Ibrox on a Champions League evening, "as being akin to a Nuremberg Rally". A few tunes over the PA including the Dambusters March(film theme tune) had the Shugster equating Ibrox with the notorious Nazi gatherings, where the Race Laws were launched. Those Race Laws that eventually saw several million Jews, Masons, Gypsies, Downs Syndrom, ...................... etc marched into the gas chamber. Hugh explained, when Celtic fans sing Orange bastard at Kris Boyd, it's because he played for Rangers. However, when Rangers supporters sing f-e-nian bastard at Steve Clarke, it's because he is a catholic. Hugh did not want to talk about effigies, the greater sin being the £30,000 of damage done to the Parkhead toilets by Rangers fans.2 points

Yep. Despite slowing up second half we could still have scored half a dozen more2 points

We did ease off the gas, however we were also unlucky not to score more, settle for that result/performance prior to KO2 points

Sutton’s an idiot. Never a penalty - the Accies player himself knew his head was nowhere close to getting to the ball.2 points

The problem isn't the Orange Order people marching it is the drunken idiots that hang on to it that cause the problems. I even have known Catholics in the past that loved going to watch the Orange bands2 points

I think we have enough hard working midfielders - Kamara, McCrorie, Jack (potentially Rossiter - who got MOM for Bury yesterday). What we really need is a creative midfielder who can really take control of a game. Ironically Shinnie did just that yesterday for Aberdeen... but that does not suit my argument.2 points

"On the other hand, the Orange Order is a Charitable Christian organisation which is exclusively populated by members of the Reformed faith" Just based on personal experience but anyone I've ever encountered from OO couldn't tell you the first thing about their reformed faith and have never been in a church in their lives. Honestly, this stuff is bewildering. Stop trying to argue around the semantics of the words. The abuse is horrible and needs to stop. Just concentrate on football ffs. No wonder I encourage my wee boy into anything but football.2 points

We have to look at things in maybe a bit differently,I agree that segregation in schools is wrong in the same way that I think religious teachings do not belong in schools but regards the sectarian issue I believe it is highlighted by football, especially Rangers and Celtic. I have had many friends who are Catholic who enjoyed going out to listen to the bands when the Orange Order were marching because they liked the tunes, many of them being hymns, but with the pavement followers dressed in Rangers wear thins are now different.Personally I no longer go to watch the parades because of these "followers",but my wife and one of my boys still do so. Over the years that I have followed Rangers(1962-present) there have been spells of noxious songs which today seem to be not as bad as some periods but none the less do not have a place in the modern world. It is not a hard ask to have the singing section to "tone down" on the sectarian songs and then sanity could follow. The last sentence could also apply to the singing at castle doom.2 points

We can. We can start reversing the divisions that nationalism has wrought in Scottish life over the last 50 years. It won’t be done overnight but the first step undoubtedly is to clear away an SNP government that is spreading so much poison. I probably won’t live long enough to see the damage undone but I do expect to see the end of the independence deceit. In the meantime I have absolutely no doubt that much of this incessant campaign against Rangers has its origins in an SNP inner circle that despises everything about us.2 points

Unfortunately there were a couple of blasts but it died a death pretty quickly.1 point

Do those usng the word specifically state the object of their ire? There's a need for diplomacy but that time has come and gone. It's time to stick together against Separate Entity FC, the BBC and all their stooges.1 point

Who cares. They'll have a go at us if we help old ladies across the street or help blind to see*. Sod them! *Thanks, Vincent Damon Furnier.1 point

Great idea but I hope certain individuals leave the ski masks at home.1 point

Just wondering why so little, cheers1 point

No medical staff on pitch,Hamilton subs at start of half,Rangers subs X2 at same time and Coulibally later so hence limited added on time as usually 30 secs allowed per sub.1 point

I might have missed it but has anyone said sorry to Kris Boyd yet for the vile abuse he got from the one's that do no wrong .1 point

Pretty solid performance all round. MOTM Ryan Jack ... again.1 point

I'm with the manager on this one, from this post match interview, I don't like it when the players take their foot off the gas and showboat. Don't drop the tempo, keep pressing, move the ball quickly and the chances will come how many of those you score is down to composure and a degree of luck. However if you take your foot off the gas and slow the game down you invite the opposition to get a foothold in a game that has essentially flew past them in the first half limiting your opportunity to create and possibly score as was seen by the fact we only really created 3-4 chances in the 2nd half where Lafferty scores from only one of those. The more attacking possession football we play the more chances we should create. If you limit yourself then its not a surprise your conversion rate drops.1 point

I personally feel it was the primary cause. We slowed it down and played keep ball. We didn’t look to penetrate as much. But that’s just picking apart something that barely needs picking apart. Could have had more but a 5-0 win away from home is a very good days work1 point

Halliday has done fine at LB. and Barisic is better than shinnie IMO. in midfield we already have Kamara (fine start for us), Jack, McCorie, Rossiter for those positions. It isn’t a Shinnie type player we need, it’s a creative midfielder.1 point

Sure, but it was unlikely that we'd have scored another 4; it doesn't work like that, no matter how we approach it. We caught them tactically, and dominated, and were clinical. They changed it second half, too, which negated that numerical superiority we enjoyed in the first half. Edit: I had a look at their results -- I did not care for it ? -- and they've done what we've done, several times: Running away with it in the first half, then not continued.1 point

That could have been a penalty for Hamilton there1 point

And those touches from a Kent at Edge of box.... wow, simply wow1 point
-
We’ve taken our foot off the gas. This is the perfect opportunity to enhance the goal difference1 point

Tavernier is noticeably higher on the right, whereas Halliday is deeper and narrower. Jack is coming wide right to take up that Tavernier position, which Hamilton are struggling to pick up.1 point
-
Up 3-0 and with that piece of Messi skill.... I’ll forgive him for taking the shot on. Kent has been electric. weve strolled it, early goals will help that in games...1 point
-
We're on fire! I think Jack and Kamara have strolled it; their positioning, ability to receive the ball and keep it, recycle possession and play the pass has given a platform for Kent to rip them to shreds.1 point

Let's hope our away support sees the bigger picture? Any hint of sectarian chanting, we will be crucified. I want the post match narrative to be about a good Rangers performance and a strong win.1 point

Not sure we need him either. The main selling point would be to torment Aberdeen fans some more.1 point

KO getting closer , let's get a good win, swiftly followed by another attack from the Scottish gutter press1 point

It is a good interview with JT which shows the problems we’ve got with BBC PQ. I’d suggest it is mostly the pond life employed at PQ that are the problem & their personal anti Rangers agendas Might be best to impose a complete ban on BBCPQ altogether. That might get their hierarchy down south involved which would hopefully result in the removal of certain individuals responsible for the current status quo1 point

If that's the case Rossiter will have no chance of coming back either, but there again if he remains uninjured in that level of football who knows?. Having seen Docherty in the few appearances he had I thought he did have a bit of physically in him IMHO.1 point

There is absolutely no chance of changing anything at ‘castle doom’. So they get their useful idiots in the mhedia(and Steve Clarke too) to over-exaggerate every single incident involving us whilst ignoring their own much bigger problem1 point
-
Here's a guy that agrees with you and which could easily be adapted for both supports ... The Celtic Network @CelticNetwork18 Feb 22 More Until a section of our support stop chanting about 'Orange Bastards' we have no moral high ground to lecture others. Pack it in.1 point

I believe we’ll need to get beyond the madness of SNP nationalism before we begin to see any change in attitudes in Scotland. Rangers has become everyone’s enemy for reasons well beyond the football pitch. In fact, football is really the least of it. To see Rangers fans acting as advocates for the SNP is sickening.1 point

I've heard a lot worse than Wednesday night's chants but its 2019 it's time for this behaviour to cease let's sing the praises of our players and team let the hooped horrors make fool's of themselves like they seem to have done last evening in Valencia.1 point

Aye Bill it’s been an enjoyable viewing experience! More more more...?? The funniest one was that roaster calling the Spanish cops “Orange Bastards”?????? Wow, that takes a special kind of idiot??1 point
