The letter from the SFA is on its way urging a copy of the report asap?4 points

And that is exactly why our season was scrapped. Just in case they "did a Barca" and blew their lead, it was safer to claim the title off the park than to play the games on it. I am still in absolutely no doubt that if we were 20 points clear with 7 games to go the season would have been scrapped null and void, and if we had a very small lead the season would have resumed. Essentially the outcome of the SPFL season for all 42 clubs was solely determined to what was in the interests of only one club.3 points

Rangers winger Ryan Kent won’t face a two-match ban for the start of the new Premiership season.Kent was sent off for violent conduct in the club’s 2-0 win over Lyon in France. The attacker was dismissed by referee Karim Abed after he reacted to Brazilian midfielder Marcelo by slapping the player in the face.A red card for violent conduct would normally bring a suspension but for friendlies played in foreign countries, the nation’s governing body has to send details of the red card on to the Scottish FA.The French Football Federation told STV that the match, part of the Veolia Trophy, wasn’t played under their control so they will not be referring the incident to the Scottish FA.If the matter had been sent to the officials at Hampden then Kent would have been forced to miss the opening Premiership matches against Aberdeen on August 1 and St Mirren eight days later.More on this story2 points

It was very well organised. Lead names and phone numbers were recorded and temperatures checked contactlessly before entering. The lounge was open but only no standing allowed, or else the beer garden where there were a lot of standing tables (if you know what I mean) sensibly distanced. Numbers were restricted and there weren't any distancing problems. I felt that they could have had a few more in without too many issues. The one area where distancing fell down at times was in the gents, but there's not much that can be done about that.2 points

A few posters have returned recently. Clearly, they know the GPL is around the corner...2 points

I thought the ref over-reacted in sending Kent off. It was silly of him to raise his hands but it wasn't a red card I didn't think. Solid performance from 40 minutes onwards and even creating problems on the break with pacy counters. We can never read too much into pre-season friendlies but it was certainly a good workout to help prepare for the Leverkusen game.2 points

Goalkeeper looked confident the rest need matches to sharpen up their awareness but a wins a win . But this morning I would be advising them on a visit to a good barber fr some square back and sides and the removal of this bumfluff and beards looks like some of them are hoping for walk on parts in peaky blinders2 points

Probably but just hope it doesn't infringe on the legal procedures going on.2 points

Looked a decent workout. Are Lyon at the same point in pre-season as us? That is usually a good gauge of the standard of opponent. I assume we are being paid a lot of money to play this game, but as a marker for what we need to prepare for, it is entirely worthless as no Scottish opponent will be set up this way to attack and have quality players like they have. Just like preseason the last 2 years we look great, we close down very well and we play out from the back with confidence and composure so while beautiful to watch it matters not unless we start the league campaign with several successive wins. Kent absolutely deserved his red card and should be fined the maximum, with the money going into a legal fund to sue his blind barber! WTF was that at the back of his head? Can you imagine what Struth or Wallace would have thought of such appallingly bad hair? Jones’s beard is equally ridiculous looking and was no doubt fully responsible for that sitter when Barker showed some electric pace for the second time. With a draw in the other game we are top of the league, so just lockdown now and award us the title as we clearly have earned it and deserve it.2 points

Think that's just a list of available points not what you've actually accumulated.1 point

We certainly can’t take too much out of friendlies. However, we also shouldn’t forget that Lyon are just a couple of weeks away from a massive Champions League tie away to Juventus where Lyon currently hold a slender 1-0 lead. Was it a friendly ? Yes Would Lyon have been looking for a win ? Absolutely. i guess we will see tomorrow where we are given we swap fixtures with Celtic. Our starting XI isn’t our problem UMHO, it’s our lack of depth and variability off the bench.1 point

As I said on other topic she has probably sent letter to Lyon ref urging urgent report.?1 point

Exactly the same as you except for the away euro and away friendly but I also used Seatsub when I couldn't make it. My points will also be substantial over the last three years as was ST, plus on CCC, home games not on ticket and my attendance was always excellent. If I am not in the gold tier I want an explanation why? If it's just that away European games are a prerequisite for gold tier, we should be told.1 point

Can Mikey have two masters? Sellik TV's latest signing, Michael Stewart made his debut last night, Nice were lucky to get a draw. Ajer is worth £50 million, but would be better staying at ra Sellik and French Eddie was onside, even when he is flagged offside. Oh, and Klimala is ready to step up. Do you think PQ will present him with a different script on Sportsound/Sportscene? PQ's headline on last night's events : 'Rangers face Ryan Kent ban blow and Celtic's Patryk Klimala tipped to shine'. A negative and a positive is understandable, there is a considerable conflict of self interest at PQ. Those lovable Dandies entertain the Yahoos singing, 'we hate Rangers more than you' and the Yahoos applaud them for it. Yep, the Dandies want Kent banned for the Pittodrie opener and I suspect the Referee will be under pressure to report the incident, the Compliance Officer awaits. This morning's BBC Radio Scotland sportsdesk interviewed the Daily Record's Michael Gannon on last night's events in France. Michael knew his lines, continuing his paper's commercial relationship with ra Sellik, was most positive about ra green'n'grey hooped horrors. Ra Sellik, Nice, and Lyon all mentioned, we were NOT named; however, we did feature twice, "in the other game". When asked specifically about Kent, Gannon recalled Sellik's Sumo' being red carded in last season's pre-season match against St Gallen and being suspended for the league opener. We await the Mikey verdict, will it be ra Sellik TV verdict or the BBC Scotland verdict. Is there a difference?1 point

I am boiling with rage over it TB. I literally have everything from the ST/MyGers/RTV/Away scheme/attend home cup games/on CCCS/great attendance for last three years and bought kit from Carstore. Yet, I was put in silver on 1365 points (my niece is a shandy as PTS and got over 1100?). Raging over it as I can't physically do anything else? Unless travelling in Europe is a prerequisite for gold membership?1 point

Not a bad performance...but as many have said...i think the team will garner more from the Motherwell match.1 point

That's what I thought. Couldn't believe it when I heard it. I can only imagine that he was so poor for us that Liverpool realised nobody would ever loan him again.1 point

Seen that. Good luck to him he’s a good keeper.Just a pity we never got a fee for him.1 point

Was obvious that the team were given clear instructions not to go long therefore it will be interesting to see how this pans out. Distribution is not Alan McGregors strength IMO and he has a tendency to pull the trigger on the long ball too early.1 point

Thought Bassey looked suspect a couple of times before he settled but agree re goalkeeper....he will push mcgregor hard for the no1 jumper.1 point

Not surprising, not got what it takes, far too inconsistent. If you don’t know what version of the player is going to turn up, you can’t put your trust in them. Was anonymous too often when we needed him most, and was quite outstanding at times when games were won. Good luck to the lad and I hope he finds a club in the Championship in England and continues to work hard at his deficiencies and goes on to prove a lot of people wrong.1 point

Zungu sounds fine: versatile, box-to-box midfielder that should strengthen one of the three midfield spots. I still think we need a creative player, though. It's not as if we are short in options (Kent, Hagi, Aribo, Docherty, Jones, Murphy, Barker, Stewart, Arfield, Middleton), but we're lacking quality and consistency. However, looking at that list, they don't quite fit, do they? They are either central midfielders or wingers, which isn't the position they're being asked to play. Hagi is the only one who can play there, naturally.1 point

His league appearances for the last few seasons don’t give the impression of an almost £4m player... 15/16 - 13 16/17 - 16 17/18 - 29 18/19 - 5 19/20 - 101 point
