I read English's article and it was hardly a hatchet job, I'm surprised how touchy Celtic are. If Celtic don't start the season well it won't be long before the media and some of their support turn on them. I look forward to that.4 points

I thought it was a running gag? I'm not the only one who uses 'Tamundo'. We all know who it's meant to be.3 points

Where does Tam the Token turn next? It would appear a line by Tom English in a preparation for Brendan's return has had ra Sellik issuing banning orders. Apparently, Tom referred to, "the shameless one". An even bigger Sellik man suffered the same fate yesterday, Peter(McGuire)Martin of PLZ Soccer was NOT allowed entry either. Again, in the period of speculation before appointment, Peter Martin wrote, "Some people have short memories. Player revolt, tedious football, European humiliation and, a man declaring his love whilst working his ticket out of the club". The one time self-styled, 'Biggest Tim in Newarthill' sets up his own Sellik fanzine, fills it with fellow Yahoos and, uses every broadcast minute as a Sellik celebration; Big Peter L says NO? Back in his Radio Snyde days, Peter Martin took over from former Sellik PRO, Paul Cooney. During Gordon Strachan's tenure he became most encouraged with his team's progression to the CL knock-out stages. Similarly, with Lennon in his first spell. He pleaded with the Board to release the necessary funds to make ra Sellik a player on the BIG stage. It was a masturbatory exercise - you know world wide support, a passion unsurpassed, the electricity of ra Stade de Gadd, .......... etc. Peter was becoming a pest. Big P summoned Peter and administered the necessary punishment. Radio Snyde were denied commentary at the next home Euro evening. Peter Martin had to sit upon a comfy cushion in the Snyde studios with James Grady, drinking wine watching their heroes on telly being filleted at the Stydome by AC Milan and Barca' on both occasions. The message from BIG P is clear, there will be NO deviation from the given brief. Peter Martin and Tom English are a couple of House Paddies, they will bitch and moan to fellow Yahoos but ultimately do what is required to get on BIG P's good side. PQ is already suggesting a sycophantic apology and an offer of compensation. Tam the Token works for both BBC Scotland and PLZ Soccer, what does he do if his fellow Journos decide to boycott Sellik Park in a show of solidarity with yesterday's unjust treatment by ra Sellik? Remember Tam, there are the school fees, the big hoose in Jordanhill, the various Bookie accounts and, the school fees. A wee reminder at this point - Rangers did not ban Chris McLaughlin, he had his press privileges withdrawn after numerous warnings. Fellow Journos at BBC Scotland decided to boycott Ibrox in sympathy and for the next five years, Rangers supporters paying their license fees received next to no coverage of their club.3 points

He once told a story that he knew he would not make it at Rangers when he was third choice reserve behind a cripple and a Catholic2 points

What we need is another Mols, pre injury obviously. Colak is a good finisher, but he isn't that player sadly.2 points

Maybe we should follow Celtic and ban all the journalists that write pish and piffle about Rangers probably be a very small press conference but it’s about time we stood up for ourselves .2 points

Come on Rousseau. If a manager doesnt like him you think it would work for a DoF to force him upon the manager and make him work with him ? Manager simply doesnt select him. Colak is more clinical than Morelos but doesnt play to the MB style. So we should really just have the recruitment based on what us fans say instead of the manager 🤷♂️1 point

Hopefully more Brits will go and support their local clubs and lower league football, in general, as a result. 'Elite football' or whatever they call it is becoming a vanity project for the super rich and powerful.1 point

That's a real shame, I thought he did a brilliant job with Scotland and was the nicest man in football.1 point

A Dessers-like player, but younger.1 point

I’m a big fan of that system in our league, and good pressing forwards would create a lot of opportunities for us and put loads of presssure on opposition defences. I've often been frustrated by our 1 up front approach because we just don't have enough players in and around the box and right on top of defenders. In an ideal world, I'd like a quality goalscorer brought in, maybe like Dessers although I find the fee very high. I also think Colak is underrated and has proven himself as a very clinical goalscorer. His goalscoring rate is excellent.1 point

What he lacked in silky skills he made up for in effort if some of today’s lot would put in that kind of effort we might win something.1 point

He got the 9th highest number of minutes at Angers last season, but he got just over 2000 mins compared to 3200 mins from the player who played the most, despite availability to play being almost the same. I saw someone post a quote from the manager saying he was struggling a bit with fitness after his injury ravaged season at Stoke. If that’s the case, that’s possibly better than not playing as much because you aren’t performing. After a season of playing fairly regular football, he should be in a far better place this summer than last. You’re probably right about set up. More of a Christmas tree? If we sign Dessers, he's a 20 goals + player though. If not, Colak can be that player. One thing I do like about Sima is that he does seem a goalscorer, despite some very low xG and touches in the box last season. System could be to blame for that too. If you compare to some of the players from recent seasons he's certainly an improvement for goals.1 point

They had to buy quite a bit of land adjacent and around the old stadium. They somehow even managed to get a compulsory purchase put in place on a decent sized steel fabricating business nearby, how they got that through I'll never know. The new stadium is adjacent to the old one and does overlap, but it's not exactly in the same place, a bit like us building a new stadium on the site of the Ibrox primary school across Edmiston Drive.1 point

His FBref stats are the same as Lammers for last season, very bad. Playing for a bottom of the league side of course so you expect them to be low, but didn’t seem to stand out at all in that context. Did score a few goals. Managed a fairly low minutes total despite a high number of appearances, apparently it's partly because he was struggling to regain full fitness after a season out injured. So I'm a bit mixed on it. Looks like he can score goals and add a bit of athleticism but not less skill full and creative than you'd want in a wide forward. Edit - just seen your comment on the last page commenting on some of this.1 point

If Michael Beale and the management team paid any attention to fan forums, we'd never sign anyone. Too old, too expensive, stats are poor, I don't like the selling club, loans are a waste of time etc. His signings so far have worked out well and he'll know far more about prospective signings and where he wants to play them than any of us do, so why can't we be a bit more positive.1 point
