I don't get this myth that's been perpetuated. I obviously watch different games from others. I don't recall any games where there's been a lack of effort from Kent. It was only a couple of months ago that Beale was waxing lyrical about Kent and many online were hoping he stays. He didn't play well in the recent SF when he was clearly unfit, and hasn't been at his best this season, like many others, but it's not through a lack of effort.

There's no doubt about it, I will miss Allan McGregor and Scotty Arfield. They may have come to the end of their road at Rangers but both absolutely knew what it was to play for this club and both leave with pride and reputation intact. Thanks for the memories.

@Bill and @BlackSocksRedTops -- Lawrence, Cantwell, Dowell, Hagi, Lowry and, when the king returns, Tillman, for one or two positions. Lawrence is bottom of the list, for me; and a #10 isn't his position, he's a winger. I think you've all been duped by Lawrence because he scored a couple of goals in the 5 games he played in the league.

We need a strong squad not just a desired optimum starting XI. Lawrence may not always start in that set up but he has shown he can make a huge contribution.

Agreed Bluedell. For Kent to be effective we have to have others causing the opposition to be stretched, like we did during the european runs in the last few years, giving the guy some space to work with. The last couple of months we've not had much up front at all for him to work with, I don't think anyone can disagree with that. Just one last thought on Kent - Is it completely beyond the realms of possibility that he 'does a Goldson'?...
