He's apparently changed it again to him in a USA top. Can't believe I am even commenting on this. Transfer time melts your brain.7 points

All those players were Celtic fans from a very young age. For example Kyogo Furuhashi's father used to inspire him with stories about legends like Simon Donnelly. The importance of knowing the club is massively underestimated in my opinion.5 points

The credible rumour is that we will receive payment to sign him. This is from a source that I have complete trust in.4 points

It's simple, if that lot keep qualifying for the CL and we keep qualifying for the EL, they'll be winning the league until the cows come home. I'll take an occasional spanking in Europe if it means we can start winning the league regularly again.4 points

The rumour Is he doesn’t like eggs but he likes omelettes. If he is available for transfer I don’t think we’d be able to fight off Mensa for his signature sadly.4 points

Quite simply this. Whoever from us or them has a better 10 year coefficient gets a bigger cut of the CL money / Euro League money. Our objective in Europe is the same as our domestic objective. Be better than them.3 points

If this is correct I confidently predict we will be away at Aberdeen on the opening matchday of the season.3 points

There is a rumour about Josh Windass.3 points

How important is that? Our rivals have just won 2 league titles on the bounce with a squad comprising of Japanese, Greek, American, Israeli and Swedish players who probably didn't understand much about the club. If they are good enough, they'll win things. It's that simple IMO.3 points

If wikipedia is to be believed, we will enter the 3rd qualifying round and be seeded. The draw will be made on 24/7 and the matches played Aug8/9 and Aug 15. The SPFL starts weekend Aug 5/6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023–24_UEFA_Champions_League_qualifying_phase_and_play-off_round2 points

The highlight of my season will be Dundee Utd going down Says it all about our season. Hope Killie join them2 points

Funny how this needs to be restated constantly.2 points

Not sure it's that simple. IMO the spanking we took in Europe this season hugely impacted our domestic season. We went from a team that were competing in a UEFA final to a team that looked miles off the pace in the space of 3/4 months.2 points

... and one has to keep in mind that these young people more or less live on instagram and somesuch, so it's better not to spend that much life energy checking out their every whim every other hour. I prefer webcams on tectonic plate move devices.2 points

None of us want to see Rangers getting pumped but if the scum are getting £20m CL money and we're getting £10m EL money, it'll be harder to catch them. If you look at the pots, we could get a much more favourable draw this time (if we qualify), with a bit of luck.2 points

The name's a bit of a giveaway the champions league it should only be for teams that are champions2 points

I'm back to being uncertain about how we will do in Europe. A lot of the players that we relied upon in the past are either going or gone. Being seeded for both qualifiers would be great.2 points

What crystal ball are you drinking from? How do you know we are not geared up for the CL? We have a new (better!) manager and coaching staff and (I'm going with a conservative estimate here) SEVEN new first team starters since our last CL outing: Raskin, Cantwell, Dowell already in, plus I estimate at least 4 new signings that I believe will be upgrades on what we had . It won't be easy to get there, and if we do, I doubt we'll be favourites to emerge from the group or parachute to the EL, but we'll have a hell of a better chance than last season. No. We should always be striving for CL level or what's the point?1 point

They want to present the illusion that they are not just catering to the big money players in football. However, when you have leagues where the 4th, 5th, 6th place (league table) qualifying squads have budgets exceeding the total value of many teams in the same tournament...it's unavoidable. At a certain point, you either have some crazy Cinderella story (Rangers...rare) or the money teams that just roll over everyone. Being the corporate, and bureaucratic whores they are, they would rather give the illusion that caters to a slim minority. As per in modern society I guess.1 point

Not this again Compo, It's been this way for over 30 years man. Don't whatever you do look at who plays in any of the 'world series' in the states, it'll blow your mind.1 point

Let me take a wild and equally profound guess - Chapter 2 will tell us that you can have the confidence but if you don't have the ability then you're also axed. 😉🤣1 point

Think he is in discussion with both Livingston and Falkirk as player coach roles. He has previously stated that he'd like to finish his career at Falkirk as they gave him his break.1 point

If MB continues with the 4-3-1-2, I don't see a place for Lawrence. He won't play as the #10 over Cantwell or Dowell. Maybe if we play with two #10s, which MB has switched to in certain games (e.g. Hibs).1 point
