  1. If we win this easily tonight, we'd better invite back Sykesy to dampen down our belief.

  2. I think the VAR teamnare too busy watching the Celtic game.

  4. Hopefully the manager has learned tonight that rotation may work in small doses but maybe Rugby Park is not the place to do it. Definitely got his starting XI wrong.

  5. Massive bottle shown tbh. Hang that Butland save in the Louvre, that's a Rangers keeper.

  6. That's 2 free headers Goldson has missed. Needs to be scoring from one of those.

  7. Those 3 going on meant that it has the same starting XI that skelped Hearts. That's what we should have started with tonight.

  9. How they can give the Lundstram one and not that on Mayo is beyond me. Shat it.

  10. Surely that’s a penalty for the handball by Findlay?

  11. Huge improvement in that department since half time 😉

  12. Take a bow Tom Lawrence, won the free kick for the equaliser and scored the second 👌

  13. Well thank the lord for Jack Butland after our left back switches off again (different left back, same issue).

  14. Commendable knowledge in niche-history. BTW, looks like no Roofe tonight, as he did not travel along. No rehab on plastic turf is probably a wise choice.

  16. Don’t forget George McNeil the Tranent sprinter who broke all kinds of records couldn’t compete at amateur level but in the handicaps he was a superstar even beating Tommie Smith the Olympic champion in three out of four races down at Wakefield I believe it was Hibs he played for that barred him from the amateur ranks

  17. Despite having over 2 months to organise, it seems the Rangers Travel Partner has yet again been unable to provide a travel option for Rangers fans. It was announced today there will be no official flight to Lisbon for Rangers supporters to go and see the game. Sport Options, catering for all 5 remaining UK participants in the two Thursday Cups, have yet again managed to put on a flight at a reasonable price. Unfortunately for me, they (rightly) gave fans who travelled with them earlier in the season first dibs and the flight was filled within 15 minutes with hundreds more missing out. It is completely unacceptable for the club to align with a travel partner who cannot provide travel. I understand the last partner got binned for the very same reason but this new one seems equally incompetent. For fans who don’t want to spend 3 days in various airports zigzagging across Europe to get to the game the day trip or 1 night direct option is the only option, and while it is usually much more expensive that is the trade-off and you can make that choice. The club is normally not shy in making a buck out of the fans, and I can only imagine this scenario is costing the club money too. In 2008 the Nithsdale Loyal RSC booked and ran a 240 seater plane at very little notice to Lisbon for our quarter final tie v Sporting en route to Manchester. It was our second charter of the season following another full flight to Barcelona for our CL game the previous autumn. Surely if a supporters club can arrange, administer and run a flight then these travel partners should be able to provide the same?

  18. Phew. That was hard. We showed a lot of bottle to deliver that result. I agree the wrong team started the game. I can't believe we didn't get any of our 3 penalty claims. Yet again, another dreadful ref and var team.

  20. That looks bad, I think Cortes has been a great signing. He will be a big miss.

  21. Clearly not!. Our 3 forwards are not very good in the air so I don't see why we are doing it!.

  22. Why? Rotation has worked for 20 odd games for the manager?

  23. Kilmarnock syle and pitch should come as no surprise. However this performance (thus far) is up there with the worst Beale served up. Dio lucky not to get a red card there.

  26. It seems appropriate that, tonight, we visit Kilmarnock, in Ayrshire, one of the heartlands of the Covenanters, because on the 28th of February, 1638, in Greyfriars Kirkyard, Edinburgh, the National Covenant was first signed. Today should be a Public Holiday, of course, but what chance of that, under current political arrangements?

  28. Another really tough game tonight at a venue we dont have a good history at in this fixture. If we play anything like we did on Saturday we will win easily, but this pitch doesnt allow you to play like that, nor does our opponent. McInnes will do his usual, slow the game down, run down the clock, lots of stoppages, lots of fouls, quick counters and aggresive set pieces. For our side, I would probably go with Lundstrum and Sterling giving us solidity in the midfield, Balogun & Barasic in for Souttar & Yilmaz, with Silva rotating the starts up front and that leaves the 3 in behind. I fancy a start for McAusland and Diomande has to continue you would think so that leaves the one wide position and it might be Wright given the nod to start with. Not the team I would select but trying to second guess the manager. We must match the fight and hunger and then be clinical. Win this one and I will genuinely start to believe (ok I already do but trying to keep it quiet!)

  30. Just watched the highlights again, what a ball that was for Dessers first goal from big Souttar, superb. We're playing some fantastic football, but its also great to see how PC allows/wants us to go direct when it's on. Having players with the great distribution that both centre halves possess is a huge advantage.
