Another very solid performance from Connor Goldson and McLaughlin seems very assured with the ball at his feet. That said, I thought the standouts today were Morelos and Jack.

I would like to see more from Jack in the final third; he's got the ability, but is rarely brave enough to show it. Kamara is best when he keeps it simple, as the lone DM.

Richard Gordon isn't on Go Radio, I think it's Rob McLean, easy to confuse them to be fair. As a commercial station I suspect Go Radio will endeavour to be far more balanced than BBC Scotland, if only from a revenue perspective. Alienating the Rangers support won't be good for business or please advertisers (or indeed new commercial partners...). Paul Cooney is a talented producer and despite his personal leanings Clyde's football coverage was much fairer than BBC Scotland's when he was in charge of it. I've yet to hear their new show, I see they've got Si Ferry and Barry Ferguson on so my heart has sunk already, but at some point in the coming weeks i'll give it listen. If it's to be successful it will need to appeal to us, you can't alienate the biggest club in the country's support if you're not being financed by the licence fee. You'd hope Haughey and co understand that.

I watched Rangers TV today for the first time and was impressed. Clive Tyldesley was competent, and KT kept imparting facts borne of experience. Obviously, situations we know to be true did not appear as we expect they should. Games against St Boo at Ibrox involve Bears throwing javelins, Pilums, and white phosphorus grenades into the visiting St Mirren fans. It's a legitimate tradition that could not be continued today. Further, the piped music failed to broadcast a minority of the home support singing sectarian songs. Thankfully, the wide TV shots of the Stadium in the last ten minutes did show the the effects of the Subway Loyal. Moving forward in these trying times, I think it's important that Rangers TV attempts to provide the perceived reality to so many of our club's detractors. Against the Perth Saints on Wednesday evening, we must show live executions of Barbour jacket wearing, tractor driving fermers.

It has to be detrimental for the entire Scottish game. Last week we played away at the sheep. A side who have pretensions of being contenders, are playing at home, and doing pretty much exactly what the minnows do at Ibrox. It's pathetic.

Agree the level of production was a huge improvement on what it normally is. Professionally presented by Emma Dodds, great pundit in McCann, Alex Rae I don’t think is as good but today he was fine, decent co-comms from KT, (thought he was a little subdued, he’s been better) and the legend Tyldesley on comms was absolutely superb. I was delighted the truly awful fake noise was binned at HT. Hope it’s the last time we hear it on RTV. While they are at it, bin the music and PA announcers, they are not required in an empty stadium. Don’t pretend we are there when we are not.

Routine win, decent performance, I will take 36 more like it. I think some of the criticism of our performance is that we had our usual periods in the match where it went quite flat. Personally I think that is partly down to Us still not getting into top gear yet but Far more to do with the empty stadium. Football is a passionate game that has only evolved due to the numbers of fans paying to attend and watch matches. Football without fans is not right. If fans are not allowed to attend due to a global pandemic, there should be no football matches being played at all.

I thought Arfield looked sharp the other night but he was playing a bit deeper as well. In saying that he was in and around the box more than Kamara and Jack usually get so I think he's unlucky not to start today. Worth noting as well though that St Mirren did OK in their last game and caused us problems last season with their strength in the middle of the park so I'm not overly surprised the manager is happy to find his way into the game/new season with a conservative line up. Plenty options to change it if the game isn't as open as we'd like.

Those were my feelings as well. An easy route to quickly overtaking RC is to "appeal" to the Rangers fan base. If they do this right, they'll and this partnership will be a success, revert to type or copy BBC and RC it'll be a disaster.

Spot on. If selling morelos means covering the fees for incoming players then who cares. The Scottish media may paint whatever picture they like but the bottom line is, as already said by someone else, he is going to be a great profit for our club.

I always said I'd want more than £20M for Morelos, but now, I think I'd take the £16M. His head's gone, his form and fitness is off, and we've got decent replacements in. I'm now of the opinion that it's time for him to move on - I never thought I'd say that!
