It was a pleasure walking into Ibrox today and not having to have my ears and eyes assaulted by the great unwashed. Great decision by the club to reduce their allocation.10 points

I hate to bring down the mood, but if we were more composed that could have been a real battering. However, that was a magnificent performance. Every one of them were immense; Kent, Halliday, Jack, Arfield, McCorie, Tavernier... the list goes on. Immense.5 points

The criticism of Jack was always bullshit. Some “fans” seem to need a scapegoat. No one deserved his goal more than him.4 points

I’m delighted for Ryan Jack today. He’s had a hard time from the fans since the Aberdeen game but I’ve felt he has been unfairly criticised and to get the winning goal in our first win over them in 12 games and with a performance to match could be a definitive moment in his Rangers career.4 points

Steven Gerrard: "Andy Halliday is my unofficial captain". I thought Halliday was immense today. That first crunching tackle set the tone.4 points

I was completely the opposite. Even after witnessing our capitulation against Hibs I just had a feeling we would beat them today. what a day !! My 14yr old even cried at the end, it meant that much to him.3 points

That was as one sided a game as I've seen. Their players and fans must be shell shocked. We looked like champions today. GIRUY3 points

Just got back from the in laws. We were magnificent today in so many departments apart from finishing. Celtic were there for the taking and on another day we would have battered them 3-0 or 4-0. The attitude the players showed and the way they got into Celtic's faces from the outset was wonderful to see. That lays down a massive marker for the future. The hoodoo that afflicted Warbuton and Pedro and Murty's teams is gone. We know we can stand toe to tow with them and beat them and beat them well. Let's go!2 points

Kent was one of our best players today. Seems he made a fool of you too...2 points

We have our pride back well done to the manager and the players and the best fans in the land2 points

That's true. First win against them though since our return. I'm going to savour it for the winter break.2 points

It's also a huge boost psychologically. We now know we can get the better of them and that will make a huge difference to us. The fact that we bossed them and barely gave them a sniff will also help our mindset going forward.2 points

At the start of the season SG’s top priority was to get us challenging for the title. Today proved he is achieving that & more. I cannot remember such a one-sided game against them since beating them 5-1 back in 2000.2 points

To those who took anything other than a Rangers victory....✌giruy2 points

Great performance by the team. Some players deserve a particular mention. Kent looked untouchable throughout the match. Think Celtic were lucky that Lustig was 'injured' because I fancied him to get sent off if he was up against Kent in the second half. Halliday was excellent. His tackle early in the game was incredible and set the tone for the match. Very happy that the few Celtic supporters in attendance were able to enjoy us singing his name! Tavernier put in a great defensive display. Thought he was excellent against Sinclair and did very well to break up some counter attacks in the second half. McCrorie and Jack also played well. I think that was McCrorie's best game since this fixture last year. Can't wait to watch this one back.2 points

Thought we would win as soon as I read Arfield and Kent were in the team.2 points

The manner of it is just as satisfying as the 3 points. They can’t claim we were lucky. They were lucky to escape with a 1-02 points

Immensely proud of those lads today! Gave their all and reaped all rewards! What a game, what an end to the year! Long way to go still, but Here's to the gaffer and the lads!2 points

We absolutely battered them 1-0 today absolutely outstanding!! Get in!2 points

I'm not convinced this is what happened. Gerrard clearly wasn't happy with Ejaria on a few occasions recently so I wonder if this is the manager coming up with a more publicly acceptable reason for him going. Afterall, Liverpool wouldn't want their player being chastised in public. This way it just looks like he couldn't settle and preserves his value. I don't buy that though. Usually if something doesn't make sense, it's not true. The boy had a one year loan deal. He could even have just stayed until the January window to avoid any issue, so to leave just before some major games and just two weeks before the end of the year is more than a little suspicious. This is where we needed Miller in the dressing room so that we could read the real story in the Record.2 points

Aye, always conveniently forgetting the IRA’oke and bigotry that happens at their piggery.1 point

ST Pats' fans were shamefully shown up again regarding the minutes silence, and Gordon who couldn't even be bothered with it, the ref did right in cutting it short1 point

Still to watch Sportscene to see if the experts???? will be eating humble pie although I expect to see highlights of the scum's few minutes and the "major" misdemeanors already highlighted on sky tv and Stewart/Thomson trying not to choke if they have to admit how good we were.1 point

It’s only 3 points but it’s the difference between us being just 3 behind them presuming they win their game in hand and a potential 9 behind if we had lost.1 point
